The US withdrawal from Afghanistan was caused not by military defeat, but by their political philosophy - the failure of neoliberal theory in traditional and pre-modern society

However, the Americans have changed their geopolitical and geostrategic priorities, especially after 2014, the Russian occupation of Crimea, and the subsequent rapprochement between Russia and China.
First, China was declared an economic rival, and Russia, after its presence in Syria, was a future military adversary.
The West then imposed a broad, coordinated economic embargo on Russia, which changed the course of Russian foreign policy from West to East and brought it closer to China at various tables such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization or the BRICS countries.
China, which had previously lacked the necessary military capabilities, needed Russian support and expanded large-scale economic cooperation with Russia in the face of Western economic sanctions.
Without much discussion about the history of the last six years in international relations, after the withdrawal of the US and its allies from Afghanistan, a "New Great Game" is being formed on the Afghan axis.
The United States and NATO are trying to create a dual containment program between China and Russia. There is a lot of military activity around Russia's borders within the former Soviet republics.
They continue to show reluctance to take decisive action against ISIS and other regional Islamic radical groups, which China and Russia are concerned about.
In the last weeks, all American and Western media have been promoting the possibility of a Russian military attack on Ukraine and based on that, they have started military maneuvers around the country's borders.
The Chinese and Russian defense ministers signed a strategic military agreement, and for the first time, their strategic aircraft flew together symbolically. The West called that alliance "deadly."
During this period, the Taliban were thought to be a total obedient force of Pakistan and a "useful tool" to drive the United States out of Afghanistan.
China, Russia, and Iran, three countries opposed to the US presence in Afghanistan, have backed a new shift in Taliban rule.
The Taliban have done and continue to do so as if they had defeated the United States and, with the help of powerful allies such as China and Russia, could consolidate their power.
However, the Taliban's mistake began when its extremist wing, the Haqqani Network - the CIA and MI6 - violated the agreements that the Qatari group had made with the Troika, especially on government formation. They continue to show reluctance to take decisive action against ISIS and other regional Islamic radical groups, which China and Russia are concerned about.
Russia and China have refrained from taking any practical action in support of the Taliban other than issuing declarations. They realized that the Americans not only had a high hand among the new Taliban rulers but also saw the Taliban as a trap set for Russia and China in Afghanistan.
Putting many weapons on the Taliban, showing the Taliban mastery of standard NATO tactics, and using all the weapons they did not know about before were all signs of "invisible" US cooperation with the Taliban in the past.
For a number of brief reasons, the United States continues its presence in Afghanistan in a different way with the help of the Taliban.

Although I have written many times in the past that the Taliban's thinking is carried through all ethnic groups, most Persian speaking friends, especially Tajiks and Hazaras, expressed dissatisfaction and even criticized my interpretation, but I believe this was the reality!
As expected, the Taliban do not have the serious support of Russia and China. Nevertheless, both countries have many agents - like the Americans - among the Taliban.
At the very least, the analysis shows that China and Russia want their allies to be long-term not between “Taliban”, and non-Taliban, and from an ethnic point of view, especially Tajiks.
Vladimir Putin made this clear in Valday Conference, stating that 43 to 46 percent of Afghanistan's population is Tajik.
Putin's message was clear to the Tajiks of geography called Afghanistan, but Tajik politicians with low mindset antennas misunderstood and misunderstood the proposals in response to the Pakistani expert, and then failed to lobby their own interests.
On the contrary, a large part of Tajik politicians is not reluctant to be tools of US policy in the region in the future "New Big Game".
To put it more clearly, at a critical moment when the region's geopolitical and geostrategic issues are rapidly changing, Tajiks interests in Afghanistan dictate that they must change their politico-diplomatic paradigm.
Proximity to the United States and the West marks the end of the Tajiks in Afghanistan's geography, as the Pan-Turkism program is another threat to them and enjoys Western support in Central Asia and northern Iran.
Tajiks and the Persian-speaking people of Afghanistan, in general, should define their survival not in close proximity to the United States and its Western and regional allies, but in close proximity to Tajikistan and Iran as two countries with the same language, history, and culture.
The geography of the Tajiks Afghanistan is not linked to the United States and Europe, but Tajikistan is, in the first place, able to preserve and support it.
It seems that the majority of Tajik politicians misunderstand the "new big game", or rather, as always, they do not understand either big or small politics. Instead, they use the slogans of democracy and human rights, which are not attractive at this stage.
We need to think about preserving our homeland, people, language, culture, as well as identify our internal allies and come to grips with the near abroad.
Russia and China use the Taliban regime as a tool for as long as their expiration date demands. When they are convinced that the Taliban can no longer serve their interests, then they invest in other "options" in the campaign.
Peoples in addition to interests, have friends!
