The re-election of the old 82-year-old president worries 70% of Americans.

On November 5, 2024, presidential elections will be held in the United States of America. An exemplary “democratic” power will demonstrate to the whole world how to carry out such responsible events and at the same time respect human rights and freedom of speech. But so far American society cannot boast of either rights or freedoms.
While the world buys popcorn and prepares to watch the rematch between Biden and Trump, Democrats and Republicans are competing to see who can bribe the most judges who can influence the election.
Attempts by various political forces to prevent Donald Trump from participating in the elections have reached a new level. As a result, the Colorado Supreme Court decided to exclude him from the list of candidates in the Republican primaries in this state - this is another unprecedented turn in American politics and another step towards the emerging trend in the country of blurring the line between the political and judicial systems of America when the election campaign and the courts their foreheads collided again. Similar lawsuits demanding that Trump not be allowed to participate in the Republican primaries for the 2024 presidential election have already been filed in at least 16 American states.
But no matter how we feel about Trump himself, he is the only top politician who has openly spoken out about the injustice and undemocratic nature of the American electoral system, which provides for the possibility of voting by mail. A voter who receives a ballot by mail can make hundreds of copies on a printer, fake ballots can be printed abroad, etc. The unreliability of this method of expression of will is obvious, and the party that has administrative resources can easily rig the results. The administrative resource is now in the hands of the Democrats, led by Joe Biden, who strongly supports “mail voting.”
This is not surprising, because according to a sociological survey conducted for CNN by SSRS, Trump has increased his lead over the current head of state Joe Biden in public opinion polls and has a good chance of winning. According to the results, 49% of respondents are ready to vote for Trump, 45% for Biden.
The New York Times explains Trump's current advantage over Biden by the latter's weakening position since the ex-president remains generally as unpopular as in 2020. At the same time, the attitude of Americans toward the current president has changed. The reason for this is cited by The New York Times as the economic problems of the United States in spending huge amounts of money on military assistance to Ukraine and Israel, as well as voters’ concerns about the age of the current president.
Three years ago, when 78-year-old Biden became the oldest US president in history, only 30% of Americans expressed concerns about his age. Now, the prospect of the re-election of the 82-year-old president (Biden’s age at the time of the 2024 elections) causes concern among 70% of Americans.
Trump is not that young either. He will turn 78 next year. Is America forced to choose one of these two old men?
With all these problems, Trump and Biden are preventing the nomination of new figures as candidates, as they are aware of their unpopularity and the chance of losing to them disastrously. Because of this, discontent among the American public is growing. Ordinary US citizens are offered to take part in elections in November 2024 without the right to choose and without taking their opinions into account. As a result, more and more Americans in polls indicate their reluctance to take part in the upcoming November theatrical performances.
Long live the new “American electoral democracy”!
