Hekmatyar's account of history and his complaints about his days with Talib.
Author: Dr. Fazlmanullah Mumtaz, former spokesman of Hizb-i-Islami Afghanistan, especially for Sangar
As usual, Hekmatyar never participates in social events such as fatiha, holidays, and wedding ceremonies. He just gives messages of condolences and wishes for heavenly peace.
Like the sheikhs of the tariqa, he generously distributes rewards and benefits, the treasury of which is very large and has no end to each person who comes to him with their problems.
He has been under house arrest for two years now, an unprecedented event in the history of his lifelong struggle for power. He is prohibited from making statements on social networks and virtual pages.
On the last Eid, he went to the guest house of Sheikh Delaware to congratulate him on the holiday and thus get a chance to breathe fresh air. Coincidentally, a number of Taliban officials were also present at the event. Taking the opportunity, Hekmatyar briefly spoke about the history of his struggle and, of course, did not mention the destructive and bloody wars in Kabul, the Tanay coup, the coalition with Dostum and his other failures. At the end, he added that he was now waiting to see what would happen to him in the future.
This story by Hekmatyar was actually a complaint to the Taliban authorities, that is, despite all his struggle, instead of honoring him, they punished him and put him under house arrest. The owners of the house answered him: “May God reward you.”
Of course, rewards have positive and negative sides. I don't know which one will be the Taliban's intentions. The current situation is a negative punishment - house arrest for a period of more than two years, as well as deprivation of the opportunity to perform Eid and Friday prayers.
Hekmatyar forgot that he is the main factor in the rise of the Taliban, so the Taliban should be grateful for his kindness. The Taliban, which is at the center of wealth and power today, has been blessed by Hekmatyar's wars and other forces involved in the fighting in Kabul after the fall of Najib's government.
Hekmatyar also forgot that he is especially the cause of all the suffering of the members of Hizb-e-Islami and the entire people of Afghanistan, and now he needs to ask God for forgiveness and apologize to the people of Afghanistan. Although his apology will never make up for the loss, it will be a lesson for every evil person.
