Through the efforts of the United Nations and personally, by Mr. António Guterres, Secretary General of this organization, a two-day meeting on Afghanistan was held in Doha (Qatar) on the first and second days of May with the participation of special representatives of 25 countries and international organizations.
At this meeting, the UN tried to find out how to interact with the Taliban according to the road map and bring all countries and organizations that influence the Taliban to a common understanding.
As it turned out, the meeting was held behind closed doors without the presence of journalists, and even an attempt was made not to give journalists information about the venue of the meeting.
In its statement, the United Nations acknowledged that this meeting will discuss key human rights issues, especially the rights of women and girls, inclusive government, counter-terrorism, and drug control; However, in the same statement, it was clearly stated that: "The purpose of this meeting is to create a consensus of opinion among the countries of the world regarding interaction with the Taliban."
As it turns out, the main theme of this meeting will be creating conditions for interaction with the Taliban, facilitating the grounds for their recognition and ignoring all their crimes.
While the UN Security Council condemned all inhumane acts of the Taliban, especially the recent ban on women's work and education, and threatened the Taliban that if they did not review their inhumane policies and practices, they would be kicked out of Afghanistan; But as you can see, the reality is different. The UN still believes in continuing to work and interact with the Taliban and, in principle, does not have the slightest concern for the people and culture of the Afghan people (according to the rules for the presence of UN missions in a particular country, if women do not work in it, it should not work in that country - "Sangar").
In my opinion, this meeting in Doha was a continuation of previous meetings in Doha, which ultimately led to the conclusion of the Doha agreement between Khalilzad and Mullah Baradar and the surrender of Afghanistan to terrorists ...
We can summarize the main objectives of this meeting as follows:
The first is interaction with the Taliban;
The second is the exaggeration of the Taliban;
And thirdly, to pave the way for the recognition of the Taliban, as the deputy secretary general of this organization, Amina Mohammad wished a few days ago ...
The fact is that so far neither the UN and its human rights institutions, nor the United States and the European Union, nor Russia, nor Iran, nor China have condemned unequivocally and decisively the terrible crimes of the Taliban terrorist group. Not only have they not been convicted, everyone wants to whitewash this group of suicides...
They all ignore the crimes of the Taliban, like genocide, forced displacement, suicide, open gender discrimination, and hostility towards women, culture, Shia, and other ethnic groups, which are happening all the time...
None of them will say anything about the forced displacement of the indigenous population by the Taliban, the brutal executions of the Taliban, the genocide of the Taliban, hostility towards other languages, and deculturation.
It seems that this meeting, like other meetings, was held to cover up the violent face of the Taliban, to smooth the road of interaction with them, and to deviate from the main solution of the Afghan issue - the national liberation struggle and the uprising against the Taliban.
