The Taliban* is at war with the people and their just demands. Since he faced the people, sooner or later it will break its back. Its defeat starts here, not in Anqara.

The leaders, who gathered on May 18-19 at the residence of Marshal Dostum in Anqara (Turkey), did not reach a certain platform. In fact, the history of each of them shows that in the past they were never able to realize the plan of their salvation and the political order in Afghanistan.

Now they seem to be more concerned with their own salvation than with Afghanistan and the Republic. This is evident from the text of the hasty statement and its stamped literature.

The enemy, using military force, drove them from the battlefield, but they are calling on the Taliban to return to negotiations, while the Taliban have never negotiated with them in the past. The Taliban are sure that the leaders of the meeting in Ankara are expired, and people have turned their backs on them. They were accomplices of the invaders and are not ready to make any concessions.

There is an absurd contradiction in the statement of political leaders in Anqara. First, without written consent, without formal agreement, they refer to themselves as "members of the Supreme Council of the National Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan."

But the "council" was convened by accident and misinterprets "national resistance" to mean that the Taliban are willing to negotiate and reach an understanding. There are no signs of resistance at all, but on his behalf the Taliban are advised to negotiate with them.

They don't let you know their address: who they are, where they are, what they can do. They do not show objectivity due to their actual influence and position, but expect the Taliban to lend them a helping hand.

The meeting participants talk about "saving Afghanistan" and the disasters caused by the Taliban, but they expect that the "petrified" group, which is the cause of all the troubles of the Afghan people, will have mercy and sit down at the negotiating table with them!

From the text of the Afghan National Salvation Resistance Council statement, it can be inferred that they already officially recognize the Taliban as a political side and expect the Taliban to recognize them an other side of the Afghan conflict.

Beneath this controversial and generalized statement is a kind of preparation for any deal with the Taliban. The tone and language of this statement is not such as to make sure that they are starting a "national resistance" and that they are really preparing to "save Afghanistan" in earnest.

The Taliban are a "petrified" group, but the nature of the numbness is also evident in their political behavior and stance towards the leaders gathered in Anqara. There can be no question that the Taliban will change and soften towards the leaders of the "national resistance". The Taliban do not intend to participate in any political interaction, even with the Resistance Front led by Ahmad Masoud, which is actually at war with them on several fronts, not to mention the leaders gathered in Ankara, whose hands are empty, and their economic and political influence confiscated and destroyed by the Taliban.

The Taliban basically fights against the people and their just demands. Since he faced the people, sooner or later he will break his back. His defeat starts here in Afghanistan, not in Anqara.

Why didn't Ahmad Massoud go to Anqara?
