A clash between soldiers of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan and the Taliban in Andarabs resulted in numerous casualties.

Hindukush, March 3 - Sangar, Hasib Sangar. This is one of the first sparks of the spring fighting of the anti-Taliban resistance forces in Afghanistan.

A source from the Afghan National Resistance Force in Baghlan province told Sangar that the clash occurred when the Taliban came to the village of Taganak in the Pule Hesar district of the Andrabs region under the pretext of trying to take weapons from people, where they were attacked by two resistance soldiers.

“Two brothers named Nurullah and Abdulhakim, the sons of Karimullah, who were former special forces fighters of the Afghan Ministry of Defense, took the Taliban by surprise, attacked them, and killed most of their group of 20,” the source said.

According to him, the clash began last night on March 14, at about 11 am, and lasted for about three hours, as a result of which 8 Taliban fighters and two resistance front fighters were killed. Two Taliban were also injured.

Meanwhile, this conflict is one of the first sparks of the spring fighting of the anti-Taliban forces in the Hindu Kush, which ceased last autumn.

The Hindu Kush is a hotbed of anti-Taliban resistance, it includes the provinces of Baghlan, Panjshir, and Badakhshan, most of which are populated by Tajiks. Despite the Taliban's claims of no resistance in the Hindu Kush, dozens of small and medium-sized groups of the Afghan National Resistance Front are present there.

Earlier, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan announced that it would resume its operations throughout Afghanistan with the start of spring.
