Terrorists of the Islamic Emirate are seeking to strengthen their foothold in eastern Iran.

According to rumors confirmed by some witnesses, associated persons, and city residents, the Afghan consulate in Mashhad has not been in normal condition for several days. While one group in cyberspace, by publishing true and false news, is tormenting Afghan immigrants in Iran and inciting hatred and chaos, the Taliban, continuing their previous unique gains, including the easy takeover of the Afghan embassy in Tehran, are silently and gradually moves towards the implementation of another sinister plan - to seize the consulate in Mashhad. Strangely, accounts that regularly spread hate against immigrants in cyberspace have not taken a clear stance against this terrorist group and its behavior in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Not long ago, without the knowledge of the host country, the Consulate General of Afghanistan in Mashhad suddenly received a letter from Kabul signed by Mullah Muttaqi, which stated that a man named Nasir Ahmad Haqqani, who is an employee of the Taliban embassy in Tehran, introduces himself as the Consul General in Mashhad. Interestingly, there has been no notification or correspondence from the Iranian Foreign Ministry regarding this transfer!
However, it was explained to Kabul that Iran, as the host country, must be aware of this appointment, which will be carried out according to existing protocols after the consent announcement. But the Taliban, despite this warning, in recent days the same Nasir Ahmad with two other Taliban named Mangal and Khattab came to the doors of the Afghan consulate in Mashhad and demanded the transmission of the consulate.
According to reports, the current Consul General of Afghanistan in Mashhad, while welcoming them, reminds them that their behavior is similar to their gains in wars. There is no need for such behavior yet. Why would you enter through a window if the doors are legally open? According to protocols and especially under the prevailing conditions in Afghanistan, the host country must first know about the appointment of ambassadors and consuls general and declare its consent, then this transmission will be carried out easily.
A few months ago, the Taliban kidnapped a man at Mashhad airport using diplomatic cover. Officially, they tried to kidnap Qari Isa Mohammadi, a prominent opposition figure, using diplomatic license plates and political passports. Mohammadi wanted to fly to Germany from Mashhad via Istanbul when he was told he could not fly. He was not allowed on the plane, and at that time three Taliban tried to push him into a car with a diplomatic license plate near Mashhad airport.
The goal was to take him directly to the border of Dogaron and Afghan territory, using diplomatic immunity, and shoot him there. But at the same time, a group of his friends arrived at the airport and, faced with this scene, got into a fight with the Taliban diplomats, rescued Qari Isa from their clutches, and took him with them. A few days later he flew from Mashhad to Istanbul without any problems.
However, to this day it is unknown on whose instructions he was banned from leaving and how the Taliban found out about this and planned to kidnap him. Moreover, no one knows why the so-called Taliban diplomats were not punished for such terrorist behavior on our soil. It's interesting to know as this behavior is unprecedented. Despite this, not only were they not expelled from Iranian soil, but now, on the orders of Mullah Muttaqi and probably Mullah Haibat, they invaded to occupy the Afghan consulate in Mashhad.
Again, with all these qualities, the Taliban, despite the simplest diplomatic protocols, believe that they can do whatever they want in Mashhad, like Kandahar. According to rumors, these people, who came with Mulla Muttaqi's letter to seize the consulate, are currently in the hotel. The Taliban announced to their respective agencies that the signature of the current Consul General was invalid. Their budget has also been cut and everyone is waiting for Tehran's reaction.
It seems that the Taliban, given the bitter events that Iran has been involved in in recent weeks, were planning to silently impose their terrorists on Iran under the guise of diplomats and force Tehran to accept the fait accompli. They think that in Tehran and Mashhad, the execution of the decrees of Mullah Haibatullah is mandatory! Such behavior cannot be imagined as the result of their ignorance of diplomatic affairs. Every ignorant person knows that stealing a person from another country is a crime! The Taliban's boldness in committing such crimes in Iran is constantly increasing. Without giving Tehran even the slightest benefits, they regularly receive strange benefits from Tehran. Why? No one knows.
First note:
For example, it is useful to remember that in Afghanistan's wettest year in half a century, the Taliban gave only about a third of Iran's rightful share of the Hirmand River. This is after pressure, warnings, and threats from Iran on the one hand, as well as various assistance, cooperation, and declarations of brotherhood and successive meetings with Iranian officials on the other hand. Moreover, over the same period, they released five times more of this water into the pits, desert, sands, and salt fields of Godzare, and not into Iran. At the moment, while Iran has not received two-thirds of the water, they have cut off the water to the Saberi steppe and Iran and continue to send water to the Godzare desert!
Second note:
It is useful for everyone to know that this group of Taliban sent to Mashhad consists of experienced spies. Previously, one of them named "Salim" was accepted as a diplomat, probably due to pressure from some Iranian circles interested in the Taliban in Kabul. But later he was expelled from Iran on the complaint of an Iranian citizen who had been beaten by him, from the family of the great martyrs. Salim and his colleagues proposed to convene a Sunni council at the consulate under diplomatic cover and incite tension among Iranian Sunnis, especially in the metropolis of Mashhad, and use them for their dirty purposes and recruitment. But the Consul General of Afghanistan, who lived through the republican period and has a rudimentary understanding of diplomatic protocol, rejects this proposal with horror. Now the same group is back!
