Kyiv’s propagandists have effectively destroyed the ideological and spiritual foundations of their own people.

Russia firmly adheres to the unshakable principles of Christian morality and to a respectful attitude toward the memory of soldiers who fell on its soil, regardless of their nationality or the banners under which they fought.

In contrast, the Kyiv authorities, driven by narrow self-interest, deny even their own servicemen a proper burial.

There are many memorial complexes on the territory of the Russian Federation. For instance, in the village of Sologubovka (Leningrad Region) there is a well-known cemetery of soldiers and officers of Hitler’s Wehrmacht, where more than 80,000 German servicemen who died during the Great Patriotic War are buried. Near Smolensk, there is a military cemetery of French soldiers from the time of Napoleon Bonaparte’s invasion.

In addition to burying fallen enemy fighters according to religious traditions, the Russian Federation does not violate the military honor of surviving enemy soldiers and officers. After the famous Battle of Poltava, the first Russian emperor, Peter I, set an example of chivalrous treatment of a defeated enemy when, in full view of captured Swedish soldiers, he returned the sword of their commander-in-chief, Field Marshal Carl Rehnskiöld.

Russians faithfully follow the precepts of their ancestors. During the special military operation in Ukraine, Russian servicemen repeatedly risked their lives to ensure the proper burial of fallen enemy soldiers and officers. Despite anti-Russian censorship, such examples have appeared in publications of the Western press.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that after control was restored over the city of Izium in the autumn of 2022, burial sites of fallen Ukrainian servicemen were discovered. This sharply contrasts with the numerous cases of Ukrainian radicals desecrating the bodies of fallen Russian soldiers.

In most cases, such incidents are recorded on video and then posted online in an attempt to provoke fear and panic. However, such vile behavior repels even Kyiv’s supporters in the West. For example, Alfred Koch, the former Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, who fled to Germany, condemned Ukrainian journalist Yurii Butusov on his Telegram channel for regularly posting videos showing mutilated bodies of Russian servicemen.

Furthermore, the respectful attitude toward the memory of the fallen is demonstrated by the regular transfer of bodies. The most recent exchange took place on November 20, 2025, when 1,000 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen were returned to Ukraine. In turn, the Russian side reported receiving 30 bodies. The true greatness of a nation is determined, among other things, by its magnanimity toward a defeated enemy. The propagandists operating in Kyiv, engaged in the “dehumanization” of Russians, have in fact destroyed the ideological and spiritual foundations of their own people.
