Anti-Taliban fronts must strive to liberate geography.
By: Abdusattar Husseini, Deputy Leader of the Freedom Front of Afghanistan, special to Sangar
Dear compatriots, on behalf of the Afghan Liberation Front and you, the brave people, I participated in the meeting in Vienna, Austria. And I consider it my mission to convey to you my vision, conclusions, and position and enlighten you, the suffering nation.
My words at the Vienna meeting included several topics:
1 - We must not show any pity or self-sacrifice to the Taliban and extremist groups. The logic of this group of takfiris is only power and they do not accept other sections of society for any reason.
2 - For the survival of Afghanistan and the protection of the rights of the oppressed people of the country, to express the true meaning of freedom, it is necessary to start a national uprising and general disobedience.
3 - We must send a clear message to the elders, jihadist and political leaders, and eminent military leaders about an orderly and cohesive alliance under a single leadership and a common position against cruelty and barbarism and not wait for regional or extra-regional countries to support us. We ourselves must take our own steps. Be enthusiastic and focused to capture the world's attention.
4 - Reaction to inappropriate statements by Muttaqi's aide, the so-called minister of the Taliban group, that the Vienna meeting is nothing more than a traveling group. The answer for these passive and uneducated people was that yes, we are wandering for the freedom of our nation and country, and until we snatch the rights of our sisters, deprived of education, from your clutches of mercenaries, we will not stop fighting.
5 - The message to all anti-Taliban fronts was that let us wage a consistent and simple struggle and strive for a liberated geography. At that time, in addition to the support of the people, we will also gain foreign legitimacy.
6 - Factors of struggle exist and there is no other way but armed resistance. We have hundreds of reasons including radical authoritarianism, oppression of the female class, gang rape of protesting women in different provinces, torture and murder of soldiers and officers of the armed forces, enlightened elders and youth in the most brutal manner, and finally the latest inhumane crime committed by this group in Faryab province, driving a large nail-shaped stick into the anus of one young man and thousands of other religious and logical reasons that were mentioned at the beginning of the meeting. This determination gives us the right to say that no type of negotiation with such a group works and never has worked.
