On behalf of the North, Dr. Abdullah maintained the legitimacy of the Karzai and Ghani governments and is now providing this service to the Taliban.

Abdullah Abdullah is still an important person for the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). For example, when the BBC produces news about the Taliban's reaction to the incident of the downing of a helicopter of Iranian officials, after the Taliban's reaction, Abdullah's reaction is also mentioned first among the politicians who responded to the incident.
What does this mean? Why is the BBC still working to improve Abdullah's profile? For example, Karzai also reacted to this event, like other leaders. But why doesn't the BBC mention them?
The answer to why the BBC singled out Abdullah, in my opinion, is that the BBC is campaigning for the Taliban. The BBC wants to say that the Taliban believes in political pluralism, and for example, a person like Abdullah, who belongs to the camp of anti-Taliban politicians, or the Northern Alliance, is present and politically active in Kabul, and the Taliban does not interfere with his political activities. This means that the Taliban's claims of commitment to political pluralism are confirmed. It is impossible to find any other reason for the BBC's approach.
We know that Abdullah plays no role in Afghan politics today, and it is very likely that, under the guarantee of some external power supporting the Taliban, he is allowed to remain under strict surveillance in his home in Kabul and, so to say, play a symbolic and demonstrative role for the benefit of the Taliban.
Abdullah also played this role during the republic. He has always been kept at the head of the Northern Resistance movement and the Northern Alliance to govern our people for the continuation of the fascist government of Karzai and Ghani. He always pretended to be important in politics and represented the North or Tajiks in power. But he was a nobody in the system and had no plan and no will to work for the benefit of the political current of the North and the resistance. He was there only to deceive our people. He acted against the interests of our people more dangerously and harmfully than Karzai and Ghani and continues this treasonous mission to this day. The difference is that during the republic he worked freely, but now he works from home.
But no one abroad knows who and what Abdullah is and what negative and dangerous role he plays. There he is presented as a representative of the Northern Alliance in the Taliban government. He is the executive head of government or chancellor and the second person of the country in the Ghani Republic, who remained in Kabul.
The external interpretation of Abdullah's stay in Kabul is a manifestation of Taliban pluralism. The Taliban, do not tolerate even the slightest political activity against their thoughts and beliefs, and even if an ordinary citizen commits such activity, he is shot. Outsiders are unaware of these problems.
The BBC is exploiting this lack of information to the Taliban's advantage and wants to present a modern, civil, and pluralistic face of the Taliban to external audiences. This is the delicate work of a media giant in Afghanistan! The BBC's existential philosophy is to do the same kind of work. If the BBC doesn't do this, it won't receive funding from its owners.
