Although the Europeans are tired of America's intimidations and do not want to participate in its wars, they still do not have the opportunity to stand up and say no to America.

French President Emmanuel Macron's seemingly new declarations demanding independence of Europe at the end of his highly successful visit to the People's Republic of China provoked strong reactions from European leaders and thought-provoking think tanks in important areas of politics, economics, and security in Europe.

Macron, after receiving a historic welcome from Chinese leaders and after difficult closed-door talks with Xi Jinping, China's powerful president, said clearly and loudly at his latest press conference that: "Europe must remain neutral in developments in Taiwan. Europe has nothing to gain, but much to lose from the escalation of the crisis in Taiwan. Europe should become the third pole, independent of Washington and Beijing..."

During this news interview, the President of France clearly stated that: "The great danger that threatens Europe is to fall into crises that are not in the interests of Europe."

He seriously emphasized that: "Europe must resist the existing pressure that turns Europe into a satellite of America ..."

Such harsh and frank statements by an influential European President, which met with a backlash from some conservative and timid European leaders, are undoubtedly rooted in the strategic ideas of Europe's "strategic independence" and require political and economic independence and an increase in the defense power of Europe without complete dependence on the United States of America.

If, on the one hand, such statements can be used to internalize President Macron's current delicate situation, then, on the other hand, they can seriously threaten and weaken the key alliance between Europe and America.

Finally, such statements are a stark reflection of the bitter truth and countless hardships in Europe, all caused by America's indiscriminate actions and participation in the senseless wars and crises it has created.

According to observers and analysts, Macron's outspoken statements are actually a continuation of the Europeans' strong stance against the American "deflationary law" that was recently passed to support investment in the United States (the American deflationary law includes various subsidies and assistance to investors in the amount of 370 billion dollars that are investing in the clean energy sector, electric vehicles, batteries and the climate in the United States).

This is a unilateral and sudden decision for Europe by Washington. It helps to transfer large industrial capital from Europe to America and cause serious damage to European trade and industry. Immediately after the approval of this law, Emmanuel Macron, ahead of other European leaders, directly called for the economic independence of Europe from the United States, saying: “This law was a threat to the disintegration of the West. It may solve America's problems, but it exacerbates Europe's problems. Europe must take a hard line on America's inflation-reducing law..."

It is on the basis of these facts that we can clearly say that although Europeans are tired of America's bullying and do not want to participate in its useless wars, they still do not have the opportunity to stand up and say no to America's power.

In such a situation, Mr. Macron's courage at the end of his visit to China could be the turning point for awakening and saving Europe from 80 years of American dominance over this green continent, which must be maintained ...
