Biden said no one can unite and govern Afghanistan in a unified way. Biden is right. But why?

The truth is that at some point in history, every country in the world was occupied. No group or ethnic group has inhabited this or that territory since the beginning of history. People usually move and leave their territories due to war and defeat.

America was occupied by the British, most of the former tribes that lived in the United States were killed, and some of the survivors became slaves. A few years ago, the slaves were freed and given citizenship.

A group that has conquered land in war has two options: either forcibly transform the previous inhabitants and make them like themselves, or transform themselves into defeated people. Otherwise, the war and conflict between the victorious people and the previous tribes will continue.

What happened in Afghanistan (Khorasan)?

Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks lived in Afghanistan (Khorasan) earlier than the Pashtuns. Tajiks and Hazaras lived in Khorasan before Islam. Among the tribes of the region who conquered Khorasan and the region up to India after Islam and the presence of the Arabs were Turks, Mongols, and Uzbeks. Usually the Turks, Mongols, and Uzbeks in Khorasan and the region transformed into the culture of the defeated and became Iranian-speaking, Iranians, Tajiks, and...

The Pashtuns who conquered Khorasan are the ethnic group - the winner after the Uzbeks. Three hundred years ago, the Pashtun tribes were not among the most powerful tribes and ethnic groups living in Khorasan (Afghanistan). The Pashtun people of Afghanistan are among the tribes living in the Suleiman Mountains, located on the plateau of the border between ancient India and Iran (modern Pakistan). Most Pashtuns still live in Pakistan. Therefore, the Pashtuns belong to the Iranian-Indian ethnic groups. Even Pashto is an intermediate language between Iranian and Hindi. Pashtun tribes in Pakistan clash with the Punjabis, and in Afghanistan with the ancient ethnic groups of the region (Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks).

After part of the Pashtun tribes conquered Khorasan, they transformed into the culture of the inhabitants of the region in accordance with the approach of previous invaders. If this transformation continued, Pashtuns would become Iranian speakers and Tajiks. But over the past hundred years (after the emergence of Nazism), deceived by Nazism and Hitler, such people as Mahmud Tarzi, Amanullakhan, and others,  made an attempt to turn the ancient inhabitants of Khorasan into an ethnic group - the winner (Pashtuns) and Afghanization (Pashtunism) began.

The name of Khorasan was changed to Afghanistan, the name of the currency in afghani. The book “Pata Chazona” (Treasure Chest) was created. Pashto was declared the national and official language. At one point, the school curriculum was entirely in Pashto. The Persian language was considered foreign and foreign.

But why didn't Afghanization and Pashtunism work? Why didn't everyone become Afghans and Pashtuns?

The problem was that the culture and language of the Pashtun tribes were primitive, unwritten, and colloquial. Therefore, it was impossible to transform the Persian language, writing, and culture of several millennia of Khorasan into a language and culture that did not yet have either an alphabet or a written language. It was with the idea of Afghanization that the ethnic, cultural, and linguistic conflicts of the Khorasan ethnicities with the ethnic group - the winner (Pashtuns) began and continues to this day.

Thus, the federal system can effectively end these ethnic, cultural, and linguistic conflicts. Because in terms of language and culture, non-Pashtun peoples cannot be transformed into a primitive Pashtun culture.
