The US is trying to destroy the existing regional security system in Central Asia in order to do what they did with Afghanistan.

USA lost its war in Afghanistan a year ago. Realizing this and fleeing from an undefeated country, the United States tried to do everything to leave itself the opportunity to maintain influence on Afghanistan and the countries bordering it. It was for this purpose that the Americans left tons of weapons to the Taliban, and took part of their aircraft to neighboring Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. As a result, the Taliban received weapons, but their financial accounts were blocked, because of which economic problems intensify and the life of the Afghan people becomes more and more unbearable every day.

Could the Americans take out their weapons so that the Taliban did not get them, or at least blow up ammunition and disable equipment? Of course they could, but it was not part of their plans. The US task was to create a heavily armed but hungry Afghan people led by terrorist organizations. It is not difficult to make a forecast of further developments. First, internal chaos arises in Afghanistan, various groups enter into clashes, fighting for the right to possess at least some resources that are not enough for everyone. Then the radical forces left out of work will rush to seek a better life in neighboring countries.

Security experts at all levels speak about the existing terrorist threat to the countries of Central Asia. In particular, they talk about threats to Tajikistan, which has the longest border, especially along the mountains, with Afghanistan. However, the recipe for combating this danger for Tajikistan is quite simple - it is necessary to strengthen its borders, strengthen interaction with the countries of the region at the level of special services, strengthen the combat capability of its Armed Forces and military cooperation within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). In this case, no terrorist organization or any other force will dare to carry out an armed attack on a country that has a trained army and is part of such a structure as the CSTO, where it is clearly stated that an attack on any of the states of the organization is an attack on all CSTO countries. It is difficult to imagine full-fledged hostilities between the CSTO and the organization and even terrorist organizations such as the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Daesh and their partner organizations. It will rather be like shooting at a target range, where the targets will be those same terrorists.

The leadership of Tajikistan, thinking about the security of their country, is doing exactly what is written above - strengthening its army and developing cooperation in the CSTO. But the United States would not be what they are if they were quietly watching the strengthening of the defense capabilities of the Central Asian states from across the ocean. It is not for nothing that they deliberately left so many weapons to the Taliban so that they could use force against their neighbors (for example, tensions on the border with Iran and Pakistan and missile launches on the territory of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan) and contribute to maintaining chaos in Afghanistan.

America is currently trying with all its might to destroy the structure of regional security created in Central Asia. The main goal of the United States at this stage is to split the members of the CSTO so that the organization weakens and is unable to act as a single mechanism. Washington is trying with all its might to tear the countries of Central Asia away from the Russian Federation to the detriment of their interests. The confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, provoked and supported by US, is the best fit for this.

Immediately after the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, the United States sharply stepped up its foreign policy efforts in Central Asia. The density of United States diplomatic contacts with the countries of the region has increased, where several high-profile American officials from the State Department, the Agency for International Development, and the US Central Command have made visits. In August, command and staff exercises "Regional Cooperation-2022" were held in Tajikistan. At the same time, US Assistant Secretary of State for Central Asian Affairs, the country's former ambassador to Kazakhstan, Donald LU, as well as the head of the US Central Command, Army General Michael Kurilla, demanded that the Central Asian countries take the side of the West in supporting Ukraine.

Washington updated the preparation of a number of new cooperation agreements with the countries of the region, in particular with Kyrgyzstan. The Americans announced additional grants for pro-Western non-profit organizations and media in the region and announced the expansion of their security programs here.

The desire of the White House to strengthen its presence in Central Asia right now, in the context of the growing global confrontation with Russia, cannot be perceived otherwise than as an attempt to embroil the Russian Federation with its allies, including by involving the Central Asian republics in anti-Russian sanctions. But it is not difficult to imagine what negative economic consequences will come after this, because the economies of Russia and the countries of Central Asia are very strongly interconnected. Such a scenario of development of events is not beneficial to anyone except the United States. It is obvious to all sane people that under the current conditions, the SCO and the EAEU play the most effective role in ensuring the economic security of the countries of Central Asia. The integration of the member states of these organizations will allow each participant to increase the stability of their economy, as well as technological and scientific equipment.

After analyzing the current situation, I would like to ask the main bearers of democratic values one question: if a serious armed conflict breaks out in one of the countries of Central Asia, will you run away to your home across the ocean, as you ran away leaving Afghanistan to its fate in 2021? You don’t have to answer, and it’s clear: this house is not your house, and these neighbors are not your neighbors...
