Such is the mentality of some in Russia that for the misdeeds of individuals, the blame is placed on the entire nation, of which the criminals turned out to be representatives.

How familiar this is to me... Especially being a Chechen. If the Tajiks have only now come under attack, then my people have this as a “trademark”. Robber, bandit, in our time they have also added - terrorists.

What I mean is that, remembering 1999, when in the explosions of houses in the cities of Buynaksk, Moscow and Volgodonsk on September 4-16 of the above-mentioned year, they blamed not just the Chechen Republic, but also skillfully cast suspicion on all Chechens. A terrible tragedy came to the homes of completely innocent people then.

The same tragedy, in an equally cruel form, has come to the families of ordinary people in our days. Nothing can justify such acts, and this is undoubtedly not only terrorism, but also Satanism. What else can you call something that can lead to human sacrifice?

Such is the mentality of some in Russia that for the misdeeds of individuals, the blame is placed on the entire nation, of which the criminals turned out to be representatives. By the way, in the case of the explosions in 1999, the Chechens were not even close! But this was not important, they will find out about it later, the most important thing is that there is a basis for subsequent cardinal acts. Accordingly, it is important that this became the reason for the start of large-scale hostilities on the territory of the Chechen Republic.

In addition, the joint Dagestan-Chechen campaign of the Wahhabis on the territory of Dagestan - the liberation of Muslims from Russian infidels - also became the reason for the entry of the Russian army into Ichkeria by Aslan Maskhadov, an indecisive man, whose actions, or rather inaction, led to an even greater national tragedy. The entire people of the republic fall into the trap of fatal mistakes and cruel intentions.

It should be noted that persecution of Chechens and all kinds of pressure throughout Russia in those years became the norm in the reaction of the country's law enforcement agencies. It was a time when calmly appearing on the street for Chechen youth in Russia was a fraught affair: even sewn-up pockets sometimes did not save them, well, so that, God forbid, they did not throw in anything... A time of extreme living conditions for a Chechen - as it is familiar to him.

Years passed, a certain realization came that, it turns out, not all Chechens are bad, and they began to become friends. Only Allah knows how long this friendship will last, but there are many enemies thirsting for new blood from the Chechens. This is clear to the Chechens themselves...

Next in line are the Tajiks. They are working at construction sites, markets, taxis throughout our vast country. Hardworking people, I must say right away. Phobias towards the entire people are completely inappropriate. Accordingly, it would be wrong to, through fears and suspicions, actually contribute to the growth of interethnic hatred and the destruction of, albeit fragile, peace between peoples.

It turns out how easy it is to moderate the consciousness of the average person by focusing on the nationality and religion of the criminals. As if it is nationality or religion that contributes to the commission of a crime. As one Jew said, they hit you not on your passport, but on your face.

So, it is extremely important to prevent lynchings, inspired actions against the same Tajiks, or other representatives of Central Asia who have fallen into the hands. At the same time, work with diasporas to identify individuals related to radical and terrorist groups. As they say, “a fly in the ointment does not spoil the whole barrel of honey.”
