Since October 7, electricity, water, food, medicine and other basic humanitarian aid have been denied to the region, which has been under siege for many years. The limited humanitarian aid that reaches the region does not meet the needs. People are dying of hunger in Gaza.

As a result of the siege and attacks that have been going on for a year, the health system, infrastructure and civil services in Gaza have been completely destroyed.

According to a statement by the Gaza Government Media Office, the latest figures on the Israeli attack are as follows:

- The Israeli army has committed 3,798 separate acts of mass murder;

- 53,552 people have been killed or are missing;

- 43,552 people have been confirmed dead;

- 10,000 people have gone missing;

- 17,385 children have been killed;

- 209 babies were born and killed during the war;

- 825 children were killed before reaching their first birthday;

- 1,367 families were completely destroyed and erased from the population registers;

- 38 people died of starvation;

- 11,891 women were killed;

- 1,054 medical workers were killed;

- 85 civil defense workers were killed;

- 184 journalists were killed;

- 102,765 people were wounded and taken to hospitals;

- 70% of the victims were women and children;

- 35,055 children are living without at least one of their parents;

- 12,000 wounded need urgent evacuation for treatment;

- 12,500 cancer patients are at risk of death and need treatment;

- 1,737,524 people were infected with infectious diseases;

- 71,338 people infected with viral hepatitis;

- 60,000 pregnant women at risk due to lack of access to health services;

- 350,000 chronically ill people at risk due to lack of medicines;

- 5,300 people detained and evacuated from the region;

- 310 health workers detained;

- 38 journalists detained;

- 2 million people displaced;

- 206 government centers destroyed;

- 129 schools and universities completely destroyed;

- 344 schools and universities partially damaged;

- 815 mosques completely destroyed;

- 151 mosques partially damaged. 3 churches damaged;

- 159,000 houses completely destroyed;

- 86,400 tons of explosives dropped;

- 34 hospitals disabled;

- 80 health centers disabled;

- 162 medical facilities were attacked;

- 134 ambulances were targeted;

- 206 archaeological and historical sites were destroyed;

- 717 wells were destroyed;

- Direct damage amounted to $37 billion;

- 86% of the Gaza Strip was reduced to rubble.
