Is the Russian opposition holding parallel elections in Europe or leading the "voters" by the nose?

Against the backdrop of the upcoming US elections, which promise to be tense and unpredictable, another interesting news has emerged. Some Russian oppositionists who are abroad have stated that they will hold their elections for the President of the Russian Federation on March 17, 2024.

The most interesting thing is that anyone can register as a candidate for the post of head of the world’s largest state, but the candidate’s details will become known only on voting day. You can vote only after entering your passport data on the website. It is also unknown where this information will end up. The winner of the vote will receive a certificate stating that they have won. What to do with this is also not clear. And this is the vote...

The organizer of these “elections” is Russian lawyer Mark Feigin, who lives in France (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent and is wanted on criminal charges). This character is known for being a lawyer in Moscow and lost all the cases.

Among his clients were the Islamic publicist Heydar Dzhemal, who was accused of extremism, Olga Komarova, a participant in the seizure of the reception room of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the punk group Pussy Riot, Kazakh oligarch Mukhtar Ablyazov and other “outstanding” figures. In April 2018, Mark Feygin was stripped of his lawyer status for obscene statements on social networks against fellow lawyers and their clients and ceased his professional legal activities.

Soon after his career failures, Feigin went abroad. I was looking for a job in the Baltic states, in Ukraine, but did not succeed. Now he is trying to promote himself by organizing and holding “elections” for the President of the Russian Federation. The matter is of course pointless, but it can also become dangerous for the participants in this adventure. After all, there are no guarantees that your data will not fall into the hands of criminals.

Well, maybe Feigin’s promises, although what they’re worth can be asked of his former clients, who trusted him, but because of their naivety went to prison. We can only hope that the majority of the population has intelligence, and for those who do not, Feigin will not ask for information about their bank cards along with their passport data.

Beware of scammers, because the population has a short memory and everyone has long forgotten the MMM pyramids and other scam schemes, but history tends to repeat itself.
