A video about the Tajik city of Khujand won the Russian contest "Tell the World about Your Homeland".

The National Center "Russia" hosted the awarding ceremony for the winners of the VII International Contest "Tell the World about Your Homeland"! More than 60 talented children, teenagers and adults from 22 Russian regions and 21 countries received deserved awards, and our heroes are among them!
Akhmedov Akhmad Kakhramonovich and Arkadyeva Liana Andreyevna, young residents of Khujand city, Sughd region, became the winners of the contest, presented a magnificent video in the 3rd age category! Their work, created under the careful guidance of Khodjieva Ibodat Naimovna and Ergasheva Nodira Vosidovna, was highly appreciated in two nominations at once: "Tell the world about your homeland" and "Traditional Russian values in the personnel".
Ahmad and Liana showed the world the beauty and diversity of their native Khujand, demonstrating the peaceful coexistence of people of different nationalities, religions and views. Through their work they proved that the true value is in unity and mutual understanding, in cordiality and love, not in national differences. The video became a real anthem of friendship and tolerance, touching the hearts of the jury and the audience. This is a great victory that will bring glory not only to Ahmad and Liana, but to the whole of Tajikistan!
In addition to this triumph, 7,407 entries from 89 Russian regions and 54 countries were submitted to the contest. Young residents of the USA, Cyprus, Korea, Australia, Portugal and other countries told about their homeland. Many of them won prizes. The project covered more than 100 thousand participants, mentors, teachers and experts. The jury consisted of 125 experts from 32 regions of Russia and 5 foreign countries.
The geography, age and ethnic composition of the participants were incredibly diverse, bringing together youth and adults from hundreds of nations. This scale and diversity once again emphasizes the principles of tolerance and multiculturalism that are at the heart of Russian culture.
The ceremony also saw the presentation of the Russian language manual for foreigners "Discovering Russia", illustrated with contest entries. The winners were awarded by prominent state and public figures, heads of patriotic education organizations, professors of Moscow universities, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps and business circles of Russia and foreign countries.
The ceremony was attended by ambassadors from 15 countries: Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Egypt, India, DPRK, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Portugal, Transnistria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ecuador. The concert program included performances by popular artists, pop groups and children's musical theaters. After the ceremony, the guests visited an interactive exhibition-excursion "Traveling around Russia".
