How does the chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan play with the lives of Kyrgyz and Tajiks?

The border shooting incident on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border is another ploy of the Kyrgyz border guards led by Qamchibek Tashiev. Against the backdrop of his complete fiasco in the country's parliament, the skirmish at the border served him very well in order to somehow shift public attention to more important issues.
On June 2, the press of Kyrgyzstan described the skirmish of Qamchibek Tashiev, the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of the Kyrgyz Republic at a meeting of the Zhogorku Kenesh.
First, Adakhan Madumarov got it, whom the chief Chekist called a patron for smugglers, and even a man who is trying to carry out a coup d'état. At this time, Madumarov raised his hand to answer Tashiev.
"Put your hands down, calm down, sit down, I'll tell you now ... Not-dear Adakhan Kimsanbayevich, I came with the facts, take your time, I'll tell you now. With whom, where and what did you do, which smuggler prepared pilaf for you. Be silent, keep order, do you have a culture? Then sit still... Sit still," the head of the State Committee for National Security addressed the deputy.
It follows from this speech that Adakhan Madumarov, and not only him, is being followed, eavesdropped and information is being collected. We will not describe in full what exactly happened in the Zhogorku Kenesh (everything is on the net, you can savor it).
But it is worth noting that Madumarov was not allowed to keep a response. When he asked to give him, as the leader of the faction, 5 minutes to answer, the Speaker of the Zhogorku Kenesh, Talant Mamytov, put the issue to a vote, but the deputies did not support it.
"What to do now? Why is his (Qamchibek Tashiev) microphone always on?" Adakhan Madumarov asked. "Don't point your finger at me. I'll break your arm," Qamchibek Tashiev threatened.
And he made a very strange statement. According to him, Madumarov was preparing a coup d'état.
"We have operational information that he was preparing mass riots and a coup with his relatives. You will never be able to change the government in the country. I will imprison you for a coup. Last time I could not, the deputies did not give permission. You do not think about the country" - said Qamchibek Tashiev.
"You can't! Say only what you can do. It was not me who jumped over the fence to make a coup. You did it, you will answer," Adakhan Madumarov shouted in response.
"You will answer yourself!" Tashiev retorted.
Another deputy, Balbak Tulobaev, who was earlier indignant at the fact that his colleague Adakhan Madumarov was not given the floor, also got the blow from Tashiev.
"The government must answer. We began to lynch those who express their opinion. I also criticize, they answer. If the opposition and the position criticize, what should we do? Shut everyone's mouths then," said Balbak Tulobaev. Later, he again took the floor and said that it is hard for the deputies when the opposition and the government swear. In turn, Tashiev advised Tulobaev "not to squabble and take the right position" (!)
On June 3, an incident occurred on the border with Tajikistan, where the "chief border negotiator" Qamchibek Tashiev immediately flew to. This was reported to the Kyrgyz media in the office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is specified that he will visit the epicenter of the incident and hold talks with Tajik colleagues. According to the Tajik media, which refer to local residents, the shootout began after kyrgyz border guards crossed the state border line (the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan claims the opposite).
The question arises: was this incident deliberately initiated?
Logic suggests that Tashiev is again trying to make amends for his unsuccessful performance in the Zhogorku Kenesh. Judging by the events that took place after the fall of the rating of Qamchibek Tashiev, there have always been incidents at the border. It was in January, February, March, April, and now in June.
From this we can conclude that Tashiev uses the situation on the border to his advantage whenever he feels unprotected and useless. Thus, he shows the people that without him it will be bad even for President Sadir Zhapparov, who alone cannot cope with border conflicts.
Now, an absolutely logical question: why does Qamchibek Tashiev need provocations at the border? Why does he play with the lives of children, soldiers and those who live near the border? Why build yourself a rating on blood?
Open threats of reprisals against a member of parliament and the intention to cause harm to health could backfire not in his favor. In principle, it is certainly not a novelty for some representatives of the authorities of this country to transfer unresolved issues from a sore head to a healthy one, and today's conflict on the border with a neighboring country, once again, has worked as an airbag for Tashiev.
Immediately, all the news feeds of the Kyrgyz media were filled with information about Tashiev's departure to the place of the conflict and were accompanied by videos that clearly showed excessive pretense on the part of the head of the State Committee for National Security.
But all these videos and filling the media with populist information and cheap propaganda are not as important as the absolute lack of desire on the part of the Kyrgyz authorities to resolve the border issue with Tajikistan at the negotiating table, through a constructive dialogue. And, it would seem, the parties only come to a common denominator, when a new provocation immediately arises.
Most recently, the parties held regular consultations on issues of delimitation and demarcation. And so they have to repeat these fruitless "gatherings" every time.
The impudent and ill-mannered Tashiev thinks that in Kyrgyzstan he is the strongest, most powerful and everything is in his hands. He forgot that the Kyrgyz punished many for such permissiveness and lawlessness.
The situation in the world today is not the same as it was a few months ago. She is explosive. The slightest mistake of a leader brings great disasters to the people, as we have seen in Ukraine and Afghanistan.
In such a situation, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan face more serious threats to their sovereignty. Their only way is compromise and negotiations, and as long as the solution of border disputes depends on the dangerous tricks of people like Tashiev, who sacrifice the lives of soldiers, children and ordinary people for their interests, they should at least not fall into the trap of provocations.
In such a situation, Tashiev himself falls for his own words: “Sit still!”
