Hasankhan Andarabi, one of the commanders who took part in the fighting, confirmed to the Sangar website in the Hindu Kush that Said Yaqutshah, known as Saida Qucho, a prominent Taliban commander in Baghlan, had been killed.
“As far as we know, Saida Qucho was the commander of the Kelegai brigade of the Taliban Ministry of Defense in Baghlan. He was a Tajik and a Taliban commander in the Jelga and Barka regions. His merit was that these areas were among the first captured by the Taliban. During this time, he caused great oppression to people, including several soldiers and officers of the former government were killed by his group," - Hasankhan Andarabi said.

Clashes in the Deh Salah district - the Kasan valley, Khairdara, and the village of Kasatarash - began at 4 am yesterday, March 29, and ended at 6 pm. In this war, from the side of the National Resistance Front, in addition to Hasanakhan Andarabi, fighters of other commanders, Mujahid Andarabi and Abdul Matin Andarabi fought against the Taliban.
Earlier, the Sangar correspondent reported that about 19 Taliban were killed and eight more wounded during the clashes. However, according to information received from the Deh Salah emergency hospital and the city of Puli Khumri, the number of wounded Taliban was very high, and their bodies were transported to Kabul.
Meanwhile, the press center of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan confirmed that 13 Taliban, including Said Yaqutshah, were killed and another 17 were injured.
Earlier, the Front reported the death of Abdul Matin Andarabi, one of the commanders, and the wounding of one resistance fighter. Abdul Matin Andarabi previously served in the Afghan police and army, joined the National Resistance Front after the fall of the Republic, and died yesterday morning at the start of clashes in the Andarabs.
Meanwhile, Taliban sources said that four fighters of resistance, including commander Abdul Matin Andarabi, had been killed.
The correspondent of Sangar confirmed the news about the Taliban combat helicopters, saying that they flew from the Deh Salah region to the Qasan valley.
“But these helicopters did not carry out airstrikes, they simply transferred the wounded and the bodies of their fighters to Deh Salah, Puli Khumri, and Kabul,” he said.
Andaraby is a region of the province of Baghlan and is the common name for the districts of Deh Salah, Banu, and Puli Hesar.
