The Taliban's illegitimate rise to power came in the fifth month and Afghanistan was still not recognized by the international community.

Even Taliban supporters such as Qatar and Pakistan, and thirdly the Saudis, refused to recognize Afghanistan. But the Taliban did not bow down and continued their illegal work.

In the past five months, two strange things happened, one of which was almost anti-Taliban and the other, if it's true, pro-Taliban.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has appointed an Afghan-born researcher named Rina Amiri as U.S. Special Envoy for Afghan Women, Girls, and Human Rights. The secretary of state said Ms. Amiri would deal with issues of "vital importance" to Biden and herself. Rina Amiri served in the US State Department during Barack Obama's presidency.

In the past, Mr. Blinken has said, "Our troops are leaving Afghanistan, but we"ll stay". "We"ll stay" and that "It is vital" for Biden administration reflects two facts: first, that the United States has not left Afghanistan politically, and second, that the United States will not recognize Afghanistan as it is under the Taliban.

There is no doubt that the European Union will have its position on Afghanistan, but the role of the United States as NATO's strongest military and political member for Afghanistan is worth pondering.

On the other hand, there are some people in Afghanistan's political movements who want to cooperate with the Taliban. This cooperation or understanding is against the national sovereignty of Afghanistan because after the Taliban came to power, from the regional point of view, Afghanistan became a Pakistani province and from the internal point of view, people have been taken hostage by the name of religion and traditions.

But the desire of these movements with old and rotten ideas, using the international political weakness of the Taliban to come to power themselves, and they have no agenda of governing, but they want to involve the United States.

Interestingly, those who want to cooperate with the Taliban are not very interested in modern Islam or the Taliban. They used to be supporters of American democracy and some left-wing parties and today they are supporters of the Taliban!

Another thing that is confusing is that Afghanistan's permanent representative to the United Nations has resigned and another person named Nasir Ahmad Fayeq has been elected to represent him. Some media outlets condemned Nasir Fayeq for compromising with the Taliban, saying that he had reconciled for diplomatic seats. Called, rejected. If this statement is true, if Afghanistan's political representation is handed over to the Taliban, it will weaken the position of the National Resistance Front, which is the only military front fighting the Taliban. Representation of the United Nations is still relevant to Ashraf Ghani's presidency. In the first round of the Taliban, the years when the Taliban first came to power, they failed to win a UN seat, and this time they have not succeeded, especially since the United Nations' largest donor, the United States, opposes the Taliban.

I wonder, those who want to cooperate with the Taliban are not very interested in modern or Taliban Islam. They used to be supporters of American democracy and some left-wing parties and today they are supporters of the Taliban!

Some media outlets condemned Nasir Fayeq for compromising with the Taliban, saying that he had reconciled for diplomatic seats. But in an interview with RFE/RL, Fayeq denied the rumors that he had contacted Taliban officials and even the leader of National Resistance Front Ahmad Massoud.

If this statement is true, if Afghanistan's political representation is handed over to the Taliban, it will weaken the position of the National Resistance Front, which is the only military front fighting the Taliban.
