By 2022, the share of BRICS in the global economy was 31.5%, and the G7 - 30.7%.

On August 24, 2023, the 15th BRICS Summit ended in Johannesburg. This was the first meeting of the heads of states of this association since 2019. The summit became the most representative in the history of the BRICS — representatives of about 70 states were invited to it, more than 40 confirmed participation. Most of them are African countries, which is logical, given the theme of the summit "BRICS and Africa: a partnership for joint accelerated growth, sustainable development and inclusive multilateralism."

One of the key tasks of the association today is to build a dialogue with the states of the Global South in order to create a more equal and fair world architecture. It is not surprising that the Collective West did not participate in this event and tried in every possible way to belittle its significance. The United States and its allies perceive the BRICS as a threat to the hegemony of their countries. For this reason, they put so much effort into disrupting or reducing the significance of the summit.

But nothing happened. The summit took place, important decisions were made that will affect the future world order and, probably, will finally reduce the hegemony of the West in relation to other countries.

As a result of the summit invitations were sent Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates to join the BRICS. These countries are expected to join the bloc on January 1, 2024. The next summit will be held in 2024 in Russia (Kazan).

It should be noted that the BRICS, even without expansion, reach the levels of economic power that the key economic groups of the West demonstrate. In particular, at the end of 2022, BRICS overtook the club of G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union) in terms of GDP. In the global economy, the BRICS had a share of 31.5%, and the G7 - 30.7%.

From 2024, BRICS will have 11 countries. But I would like to remind you that in total, 22 countries have submitted formal applications for joining the BRICS: Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Venezuela, Vietnam, Honduras, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Kuwait, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, State of Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Thailand and Ethiopia.

The influence of BRICS in the world is growing. Western hegemony will soon end.

Hello new reality, new fair world!
