The United States has found a replacement for the President of Ukraine.

Against the backdrop of the active phase of preparations for the presidential elections, the Joseph Biden administration is looking for ways to end the conflict in Ukraine and initiate the negotiation process.

Some experts believe that the United States is currently putting pressure on Vladimir Zelensky, pushing him to find ways to start peace negotiations with Russia. For this purpose, American Secretary of State Antony Blinken came to the city of Kyiv in May of this year, marking the beginning of the “peace enforcement.” After this, many high-level US-Ukrainian contacts took place, with one real goal - to push Kyiv to begin the negotiation process with Moscow.

The fact is that America’s unprecedented support for Ukraine is accompanied by a lack of victories for the Ukrainian armed forces on the battlefield, which are slowly but surely abandoning one settlement after another while losing a large number of their officers and soldiers.

This situation negatively affects the domestic political situation in the United States and Joe Biden's ratings ahead of the presidential election. As a result, Washington’s dissatisfaction with Vladimir Zelensky is growing. Some American media even seriously raise the question of the legitimacy of the Ukrainian president. Thus, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham proposed a deal to Vladimir Zelensky, according to which the Ukrainian president would hold elections in the country, and in return, the United States would provide Ukraine with an additional aid package.

Experts believe that in this way Washington intends to use “soft power” to remove the current leader of Ukraine from office by supporting a more convenient candidate, since according to opinion polls, Vladimir Zelensky will lose during the elections due to his low rating.

At the same time, the White House is concerned about the fall in the ratings of Joe Biden and the Democrats in general due to the huge spending of the American budget on assistance to Ukraine. In this regard, the American administration considers it necessary to shift the burden of responsibility for Ukraine to European countries.

At the same time, Washington understands that it is necessary to change the power in Kyiv to a more flexible and “obedient” one. Former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, who is a creature of Brussels and has established business relations with Europe, is being considered as a successor to Vladimir Zelensky. It owns agricultural holdings, the largest of which are Milkor, Carpathian Golden Nuts, and the Italian company Avitalia. Washington believes that Arsen Avakov will be able to negotiate arms supplies on Brussels’ terms, thereby freeing Washington from this burden.

In order to conceal these plans, official American authorities do not openly declare their intentions but are preparing Arsen Avakov and his team to come to power through the non-governmental organization Aspen Institute. Since 2016, the branch of this NGO in Ukraine has been headed by Natalya Yaresko (woman), a US native of Ukrainian origin. In 2014-2016, she served as Minister of Finance of Ukraine and was even considered one of the candidates for the post of Prime Minister. Likely, Natalya Yaresko is currently being considered for one of the top leadership positions after Aresen Avakov comes to power.

US actions to transform power in Kyiv may lead to unexpected developments. We will closely monitor what is happening.
