Reliable sources report the growing influence and presence of ISIS, or Khorasan Province, in the Taliban leadership.
Kandahar, 27 March - Sangar, Mirwais Shirzai. The US claims that ISIS has become stronger in Afghanistan and will spread its attacks outside of Afghanistan in at least six months. But the Taliban rejected this claim and announced that after the restoration of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, ISIS suffered a complete defeat.
Sangar's credible Taliban intelligence source in Kandahar says that ISIS influence within the Taliban has multiplied and most of those in high positions in the government of the Islamic Emirate is affiliated with ISIS.
“Many important people of the Emirate, such as Sirajuddin Haqqani, Qari Fasihuddin, Mavlavi Najib Raghi, Abdusalam Hanafi, Mavlavi Mohammad Qasim Khalid, governor of Kunar, Qari Salahuddin, Makhdum Alim, Muteulhaq Khalis (son of Mavlavi Khalis, now head of the Afghan Red Crescent - Sangar), Hamid Khorasani are either members of ISIS or support it. Currently, all followers of Mufti Nematullah are actively working in the Taliban government,” the source said.
According to this source, this large group is led by Sirajuddin Haqqani, the minister of the interior, who occasionally takes them under his support when they are in danger. For example, last year, when rumors surfaced that Salahuddin Ayyubi was leaving the Taliban, he appointed him chief of police in Zabul province. He also appointed Makhdum Alem, who was arrested and later released on charges of collaborating with the US and ISIS, as police chief of Ghazni province.
“The last act of Haqqani was the appointment of Hamid Khorasani, the controversial Panjshiri Talib, as the head of the administration of Ahmadabad district, Paktia province, Haqqani's homeland. Khorasani was under the gun of the Kandahar Taliban, there was a risk of his assassination,” he said.
The source reports that it was Sirajuddin Haqqani who rescued Mawlawi Najib Ragi, who was under house arrest for not paying khums for Ragh gold in Badakhshan, was known to be an ISIS accomplice and could not return to his homeland after the Taliban came to power. He was appointed chief of the Laghman Province Police.
“Abdusalam Hanafi, the Taliban vice-premier who, along with Sirajuddin Haqqani, dared to criticize Mullah Haibatullah himself, the Amirulmumin of this group, was under his tutelage of Haqqani, otherwise he would never have taken such a crazy step,” the source said.
According to the source, Abdusalam Hanafi, Qari Salahuddin Ayubi, and Makhdum Alim are the same Uzbek Taliban who had relations with Mufti Nematullah, or Mufti Nemat, one of the first Uzbek Taliban in Darzab, Jazjan province, and fighters of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. Mufti Nemat, who was said to be the man of Marshal Abdurshid Dostum, Ghani's vice-president, and whose photo was published next to him, left the Taliban at the behest of Turkey and took charge of the leadership of ISIS in Juzjan. He surrendered to the authorities on August 4, 2015, after an operation by Afghan government forces, along with more than 240 other ISIS, and was transferred to Kabul. After spending some time in Saudi Arabia, he returned to Afghanistan and assumed responsibility for the leadership of ISIS in northern Afghanistan. According to information provided by “Sangar”, Mufti Nemat is now in the province of Juzjan, where the largest terrorist base of the IMU, Al-Qaeda, and other terrorist organizations is located. This base was organized under Hamid Karzai with the consent of the United States. But other sources say that Mufti Nemat, who fell out of favor with the Taliban, took refuge in Iran or Turkey.

These details about the presence of people or supporters of ISIS were leaked while Michael Kurilla, commander of CENTCOM - US Central Command, told the Congress of this country that ISIS has strengthened in Afghanistan, and the number of its fighters has reached 2250 people and at least six months later, he begins his attacks abroad, including against US interests.
Zabehullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban government, denied his words on his Twitter page and said that after the restoration of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, ISIS was completely defeated, and the information provided by the US authorities is not true.
Over the past few months, the Taliban have killed several key ISIS members. According to them, Ziyauddin, the sixth leader of the ISIS-Khorasan group, who was also in charge of the judiciary, Mawlawi Muhammad, the second representative of ISIS in Kunar, Abu Omar Afridi, one of the important members of the group's Council, Qari Fatih, head of the ISIS security department, and Salman Tajiki, along with two other important ISIS leaders, one of whom was a foreigner, were killed in the provinces of Kabul, Kunar, and Balkh.
A Sangar source says that the Taliban have not yet killed a single real ISIS fighter, but they have killed people wanted by Pakistani and Chinese intelligence and received dollars for this service. According to him, Salman's real name was Sulaiman, known as Ustad Sulaiman or Sulaiman Aka, he was an Uzbek, not a Tajik.
“Secondly, the Taliban announced that he was killed in Mazar-i-Sharif, which is not true. He was killed at Khair Khana of Kabul in February. But this man had very good relations with the Taliban, and he was not killed by them, but by another unknown group. The names of most of the dead ISIS fighters are not published in the media, but among them, there are Pakistanis and Chinese Uyghurs. Most of them are Resistance Front prisoners and other innocent people who were used to dramatize a “war against ISIS” in order to get money from the US”, the source said.
According to him, Al-Qaeda and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan are absolute friends of ISIS and support it, and ISIS has its centers and hostels in the Sheikh Mande Musai colony in Quetta and Peshawar, which are under the supervision of Pakistani and American intelligence.
“I think the US claims are true and the Taliban are lying. But the US prediction of ISIS attacks on US facilities abroad could be exactly the opposite, and their intelligence knows the truth about it. This is ISIS - the same ISIS that the US has been preparing for the last 10 years of its presence in Afghanistan,” the source said.
Based on this information, we can look at recent events in Afghanistan from a different angle, including the differences between the Taliban, the covert war between the "Iranian Taliban" Kandagari, and the Pakistani Haqqani Network, the patron of ISIS. A prime example of this war was the assassination of Mawlawi Daoud Mozammil, the governor of Balkh, an influential Taliban commander close to Iran, who was killed by an ISIS suicide bomber.

It is likely that within the six months that the Americans prophesy, all members and supporters of ISIS in the Taliban government will half-mast the white flag and raise the black flag. Then it will become known whose objects and interests they will attack - the Americans or their rivals in countries outside the borders of Afghanistan.
