Abdullah Yasser, the second Taliban diplomat in Moscow, is the founder and at least one of the first trainers of Afghanistan's first suicide training school.
Kunduz, December 10 - Sangar, Jamshid Badakhshi. He is said to be one of the people close to Amirkhan Mottaqi, the Taliban foreign minister.

According to information received by the Sangar correspondent, Abdullah Yasser, a man recently appointed first secretary of the Taliban embassy in Moscow, created the first school of intihari - suiciders in Afghanistan and was considered one of their main trainers.
“Yaseer established Afghanistan's first suicide bombing school in the Chahardara district of Kunduz province after 2013, and all suicide operations in the northern and central provinces of Afghanistan were carried out by its students,” the source said.
In the past, terrorist suiciders were trained in special schools in Pakistan's Waziristan and sent to Afghanistan to carry out attacks. Abdullah Yasser was one of the first who organized a school for brainwashing and turning children and youth into suicides in northern Afghanistan. According to sources, this school operated in several sections - educational and military - in the predominantly Pashtun areas of Omarkhel and Zadranha, Chahardara district, Kunduz province.
This information was confirmed to Sangar by one of the former directors of the Afghan National Security Directorate, but he stated that the suicide centers in the Chahardara region were organized by Haji Abdurahman from the Pashtun Omarkhel tribe, Omarkhel locality, now the deputy governor of Helmand and Pakistani intelligence in 2013-2014.
“Haji Abdul Rahman was previously arrested and imprisoned by the Afghan National Security Directorate, but thanks to the efforts of President Hamid Karzai, he was again released and continued his terrorist activities. We can say that Hamid Karzai made an invaluable contribution to creating hotbeds of terrorism, in general, the Talibanization in the north. He considered the Taliban not as an enemy of the regime, but as Pashtun - as his people, and he definitely tried to nurture them,” he said.
According to this source, Abdullah Yasser personally led a suiciders attack on the mosque of the 209th Shahin Corps of the IRA Ministry of Defense on April 21, 2017, as a result of which more than 150 soldiers were killed and 200 more were wounded during prayer.
Hafiz Abdullah Yasser, the son of Qari Nazir, from the Tutakhel Pashtun tribe, was born in the village of Nahri Sufi, Chahardara district of Kunduz province. His father is a traffic police officer in the province of Baghlan.
He was arrested twice during the republic for links with the Taliban, has close ties to the leadership of the movement, including Amirkhan Muttaki, and is considered one of the ardent ideological members of the group.
One of his brothers, named Hafiz Ubaydullah Obidi, is the spokesman for the Kunduz Provincial Police Department. And his other brother, named Abubakr, is in charge of public relations at the Taliban Defense Ministry Training Center in Kunduz.
“They are all committed Taliban ideologically and have close contact with the Taliban and ISI Pakistani intelligence. Yasser himself, when he travels to Kabul, it is very easy to get an audience with Abdulhaq Wasiq (the head of the Taliban intelligence),” the source said.
During the republic, Yasser was in charge of cultural activities and spokesman for the Taliban in the north. After the fall of the republic, he was appointed head of the foreign relations department of the Kunduz provincial administration.
However, Yasser's autobiography, which was found by the Sangar correspondent, does not say anything about his terrorist activities, but the inhabitants of Kunduz give more interesting information about him.
One of them said that Yasser is a mysterious and openly extremist person, and after the capture of Afghanistan by the Taliban, he began the propaganda against the Hazara Shiites.
“He preached to people in one of the mosques in Kunduz that anyone who killed ten Hazaras would go straight to heaven. One of his virtues is that he is a very eloquent speaker and is very good at brainwashing suicide bombers,” the source said.
Yasser, through his brother Shahidullah, was also responsible for cooperating with foreign terrorists who operate in the provinces of Takhar and Kunduz.
“Mehdi Arsalan and other foreign terrorists have repeatedly visited his house. On a silver and armored Land Cruiser, which in the past belonged to one of the current leaders of the Resistance Front, Shahidullah took a group of foreign terrorists to the banks of the Amu Darya in the Imam Sahib region (bordering Tajikistan) for fun and fishing at the end of September of this year," the source said.
The association of Taliban leaders with suicide bombers is not a new story. On the contrary, they are proud of their participation in suicide operations and do not consider it a crime. One of Sirajuddin Haqqani's first acts as Taliban interior minister was to receive and reward families of suicide bombers at the InterContinental Hotel in Kabul. He even said in one of his speeches that the 2018 suiciders attack on the Intercontinental Hotel was led by the Prophet Muhammad himself.
In October this year, Abdullah Yasser was appointed the First Secretary of the Afghan Embassy in Moscow. On April 6, 2022, Moscow received the first Taliban diplomat, Javad Nasser Gharwal, as charge d'affaires of this embassy. Russia considers the Taliban a terrorist organization but does not avoid cooperation with them.
