STATEMENT

National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan in connection with the commission of human crimes by the terrorist group "Taliban" in the province of Panjshir

In the name of the God of Truth and Justice

By resorting to violent methods, the Taliban terrorist group committed crimes against humanity and violated all Islamic, moral, and humanitarian norms by shooting and killing hundreds of innocent and oppressed residents of the Panjshir province.

Resorting to violence, targeted killings, human crime, and genocide is part of the Taliban's approach and culture, which they are proud of.

The terrorist group "Taliban" inhumanly, anti-Islamic, and against the laws of war treat prisoners of war, and does not believe in any religious, humane, or moral principles. In addition, daily engagement in forced migration, massacres, and incitement of ethnic tension turned all the hopes of the people of this land into despair and took hostage the life of the nation.

The published videos of war crimes committed by the Taliban in Panjshir province are concrete examples of genocide and anti-human acts that hurt the heart of every person, but it is as if deathly silence reigns in the world instead of countering and imposing sanctions on this group. Weekly money parcels are sent to them, as well as unconventional diplomatic treatment.

A group that harbors thousands of terrorist fighters, provides a smooth platform for terrorist groups to operate in the region and commits war crimes on a daily basis. How can the international community accept it?

The international community, whose motto is to fight and get rid of terrorism, should not provide funding to this terrorist group.

Strongly condemning the human crimes committed by the Taliban in Panjshir Province, the National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan calls on the international community to impose sanctions against the group, stop helping the Taliban and designate them as a terrorist group.

The National Council of Resistance considers itself an accomplice in the pain and mourning of the oppressed, but brave and courageous people of the Panjshir province and prays for the souls of the martyrs and wishes them a place in paradise.
