Sirajuddin Haqqani took off his face mask to prepare for his new mission, but what is it?

Author: Mohibullah Noori

Sirajuddin Haqqani and Mullah Yacoub are two agents of foreign intelligence from the Islamic Emirate dictatorship who have been introduced one after the other.

Before talking about their new mission, let me explain the structure of the Taliban in order to better understand this issue. The Taliban can be divided into three parts:

  1. Militants, who make up 80 percent of this group, are mostly illiterate or semi-literate people who do not know the backstage of the main games.
  2. Their commanders, who make up about 20 percent, are mostly radical and semi-educated mullahs who graduated from Pakistani madrasahs, command that 80 percent group and coordinate with the leadership, but they are also unaware of behind-the-scenes goals. These simple-hearted people, in their conviction, are working for spreading the bright Sharia of Muhammad (s).
  3. The core of leadership and intelligence group is the small number of people who are in leadership. With the exception of a few symbolic individuals, such as Mullah Hasan Akhund and Mullah Hanafi, all the rest are proteges of foreign special services. Among them, Mullah Baradar, Sirajuddin Haqqani, and Mullah Yaqub are the main authorities of the Taliban, who, under the name of Mullah Haibatullah Akhund, actually carry out orders from foreign intelligence services, even those that they allegedly fought against for 20 years.

But why was the face of Sirajuddin Haqqani revealed at this particular time and what is the motive behind this presentation?

First, Pakistan, given the experience of the jihad and the 1990s, when the Mujahideen government led by Ustad Rabbani did not obey the orders of Pakistan, ruled the Taliban very carefully. For this reason, by appointing Mulla Yaqub as defense minister and Sirajuddin Haqqani as interior minister, he wanted to create a kind of balance of power in the Emirate and thus maintain his dominance over Kabul. Disagreements between them also prevented the election of Mulla Baradar as prime minister.

This policy of Pakistan has given rise to a sharp new competition between the two figures. Especially when Mulla Yaqub surpassed Sirajuddin Haqqani and gained more political prominence due to earlier revealing of his face in this rivalry. Now he needs to go into politics as soon as possible in order to compete with his opponent. But revealing their faces, along with many advantages, created a problem for them. They seemed to their worshipers mysterious, attractive, and monstrous as long as they were hidden behind a dark veil, but when the veil falls from their face, they lose their greatness. Just as the coming from the mountains to the city lessened their seriousness, their exposure to the public and the judgment of the people will certainly diminish their authority and effectiveness.

Removing the niqab - the mask, they revealed their true identity and level of knowledge, and it became clear that the one who killed thousands of Muslims in the name of Islam is not even able to read the ayats of the Koran correctly. It was proven, that these people have neither religious nor secular knowledge, and their influence is due to their intelligence role and terrorist acts. And, in general, everything was window dressing.

Second, their use by intelligence agencies may have expired, or their role may have become political. History has shown that intelligence agents when they enter the sphere of politics, government, and work with the people, lose attractiveness, and in general, most of the military leaders have not achieved much success in politics.

Thirdly, after the war in Ukraine, Sirajuddin Haqqani was instructed by the security services that he should reveal himself for his new role. That is why the world welcomes them, the world media keeps silent about them, what is even more shameful is that the democratic world keeps a satisfying silence about the killings, repression, and imprisonment of women, teachers, scientists, and the suppression of freedom of speech in Afghanistan.

But why is the world silent about the actions of the terrorist group? What deal did they make that attracted the world overnight?

The best tool for understanding their intelligence mission is to analyze their six months of activity and monitor their performance and approach on a daily basis. When you look at the big picture of the group's six months of activity, you can see that the Taliban are following three missions:

The first mission, when a regime of one ethnic group is created, others do not take place in its structure, genocide is taking place in some regions of Afghanistan, they penetrate into the houses of specific ethnic groups under the pretext of checking, and does this approach mean if not inciting interethnic hatred and preparing Afghanistan for further disintegration?

The second mission - when, under various pretexts, tension is created on the borders of neighbors and warnings and threats are sent to them, aren't these threats and the creation of tension a preparation for the destabilization of neighboring countries and the violation of order and stability in the region?

The third mission, when someone comes and oppresses the people in the name of Islam, sows terror, jails and tortures people, removes women from work, deprives girls from schools, sends men and women from civil society to prison, and expels enlightened scientists from mosques, represses, tortures and even kills them, doesn't this disfigure the face of Islam before the eyes of the world community?

Thus, the time once again proves that the Taliban are pursuing three specific goals - the disintegration of Afghanistan, the disruption of the regional order, and the denigration of Islam.

*The organization is under UN sanctions for terrorist activities.
