Only a day before the conflict, Sadyr Japarov called on the fraternal peoples of Azerbaijan and Armenia to engage in dialogue and resolve everything peacefully. But why are he and his subordinates forgetful? President Sadyr Japarov emphasized the need to resolve the conflict exclusively through political and diplomatic means and expressed the hope that both sides would continue to refrain from the use of force and resolve all differences between themselves by peaceful means based on confidence-building measures between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

People's deputies supported the idea of replacing the presidential government with a parliamentary one. At the session, Emomali Rahmon was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan by a majority of votes. In the presence of the people's deputies, the new leader of the country clearly and confidently declared: "On the path of peace and harmony, I will either die or achieve my goal!"
The beginning of the inter-Tajik negotiation process with the aim of establishing peace in Tajikistan, ending hostilities on the Tajik-Afghan border, solving the problem of refugees, and national reconciliation was laid on April 5, 1994, when a meeting was held in Moscow on the initiative of Emomali Rahmon, mediated by the UN and the Russian Foreign Ministry government delegation of Tajikistan with representatives of the opposition - the first round of negotiations.
In the end, Rahmon brought peace to his country and returned more than a million refugees. In 30 years, Rahmon has built a prosperous, prosperous country and democratic and educated society. That's what Rahmon achieved!
Rahmon has always sought to resolve conflicts peacefully.
