One of the protesters told Sangar that before the Battle of Khesarak in the province of Panjshir, Qari Fasihuddin summoned a number of teenagers and young people from the districts of Warduj, Shohada, and Baharak to Kabul and promised them that he would arrange them in his own guard and protocol, as chief of General Staff.
“These young people should be educated and become the cadres of the future. But Fasihuddin, contrary to his promise, sends these guys into battle on Panjshir, after which eight of them - all from Varduj - die. The bodies of five of these deaths have not been found,” the source said.
According to Sangar's interlocutor, three corpses brought from Panjshir were buried by people and the Taliban promised that they would bring the rest, but so far there is no news of other corpses.
“Now people have rebelled against Kari Fasihuddin and ask: why did you deceive us, take our children and kill them? Well, you killed them, what did you do with their bodies? Bring in all the corpses!” - he said.
Qari Fasihuddin, a native of Warduj, grew up in this area, where he began his first wars on the side of the Taliban and against previous governments.
Meanwhile, the disappearance of the bodies of the Badakhshan Taliban in Panjshir worries parents who believed the promise of Qari Fasihuddin and sent their children to Kabul, because these young men are still in Panjshir. Qari Fasihuddin has not reacted in any way about this.
The Khesarak War in Panjshir, which lasted from 1 to 3 April, was the largest clash between the forces of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan and the Taliban, in which more than 100 Taliban were killed and wounded and ended in their brutal defeat. None of the Resistance Front fighters were wounded or killed.
