Have the murders and robberies of Shamali* been forgotten?

Like other regions of Afghanistan, Kohdaman has experienced many bitter and sad events throughout history. Still, none of them is more sad and bitter than the aggression of the militias of Nadir the Perfidious (Ghaddar) or the Yahya Dynasty, as well as the Afghan Taliban, or, in the words of Khwaja Bashir Ahmad Ansari, “the modern Khawarijs.”
The British, Russians, Mongols, and other foreigners, no matter what they did, we have no claims against them; But the Taliban, the mercenary and punitive army of Nadir the Perfidious, who had the seal of the Imamate and ethnic Sharia etched on his forehead, did worse than any army of infidels and foreigners.
During the time of Nadir the Insidious, under the slogan “his head is ours, and his money is yours,” Kohdaman was destroyed, and the lives, property, and honor of its inhabitants were trampled upon. During the time of the modern Kharijites, the same thing was and is being done with more detailed planning.
During these two periods, Kohdaman was emptied of its main inhabitants-Tajiks and was resettled by Indian Afghans. This was part of the plan to implement the British colonial plans to create in every sense a puppet government, hence no oppression was an exception.
Shah Agha Mujaddadi in his book “Amir Habibullah the Servant of the Religion of the Messenger of Allah” wrote that: “After the victory of Nader Khan, the situation developed in such a way that Nader Khan sent his army, people under his command and trained by British colonialism, to Shamali, and they committed as many crimes as they could. They looted people’s property, burned their houses, and even took a few young girls with them to British India where they later sold them in the Hiramandavi market in Lahore.”
To suppress this people, the only tyrant who was able to fulfill the goals of British colonialism was Mohammadgul Mohmand, who, as the head of the administration of Shamali, collected 25 thousand British shareholders from the Pashtun tribes of Ahmadzai, Karukhel, Jaji, Mangal, Tutakhel and Waziri and went to the region to kill and loot and unleash Afghan-style brutality against the Tajiks in Kohdaman.
As it is written in the book of Ustad Latif Karimi Istalifi “The Second Robbery of the Mangals”: “Mohammadgul Momand, having assumed the guise of the conqueror of this province, behaved hostilely and cruelly towards the people in complete arrogance and alienation. He used the army and military forces to raid houses, destroy walls, and gardens, and burn castles, and was busy torturing, insulting, bullying, and beating people. He wanted the lives of the rebels (Tajiks), and those who did not have money, gold, and weapons were beaten, insulted, and mocked, even according to evidence from other historians, he threatened to summon the rebel's wife to a national assembly. If jewelry was not found in the houses, the women of the family were threatened with a needle stuck in their breasts.”
During the years of domination of modern Kharijites or Afghan Taliban, when the people of Shamali resisted under the leadership of Ustad Shaheed (Burhanuddin Rabbani - Sangar) and the command of the National Hero (Ahmadshah Masood - Sangar), according to Shah Agha Mujadadi in the book “Amir Habibullah the servant of the religion of the Messenger of Allah”, which he wrote in a very conservative form: “The people of Shamali fought against the Taliban and resisted Pakistani aggression. The government of Pakistan was forced to introduce a large number of Punjabis into our country under the guise of the Taliban to suppress resistance. And these, after the conquest of Kohdaman, Parwan, and Kapisa, like the inhabitants of the south borders, after burning the fields and gardens of the people of Shamali and destroying the houses and water canals, took with several young girls under the pretext of transferring them to the Sarshahi camp. They wanted to transfer them to Punjab, which was prevented by some Afghan Taliban.”
The Taliban and Nader Khan were Afghans/Pashtuns. The mercenaries of the British were brought to power to fulfill the goals of the British and form a colonial country in every sense, but by abusing Islam, they discredited the face of this religion. They are ignorant not only of our history and culture but also of the Quran and humanity and every order received from the ISI and their other superiors they have implemented with all their energy.
Hajah Bashir Ahmad Ansari told an interesting story in his book “The Religion of the Taliban”: “Dost Mohammad was a resident of Kabul who was forced to go to Shamali to earn money during the Taliban era and in exchange for daily work received a payment of 70,000 Kabuli rupees - the currency of the country in that time. His job was to cut down apple trees, peach trees, and grapevines. He says: “One day in Kohdaman, when I was sawing apple trees, I felt hungry and thought to myself, what can I do to pick an apple from the branch of one of the cut trees and satisfy my hunger? As soon as I cut the apple and put it in my mouth, I felt the armed Talib who hired us hit me in the head with a cable. And then he told me never to reach for this fruit because it is haram.”
And this ridiculous opinion of the modern Kharijites was imposed under the banner of Islam and the holy and moderate Hanafi madhhab on those who for many years were the victims of such rulers, fanatical tribalists and ignorant of Islam. They were created under the slogan of the Islamic Emirate and in the shadow of British colonialism, the idea of Zionism, and the politics of Pakistan as mercenaries of power-hungry and monopolistic Afghan nationalism. In reality, their activities represent the same project of mono-ethnicization of the northern regions due to the sinister goals of the Afghan samsurs and ignorant Afghanists.
Nadir and his relatives did not consider anyone worthy of royal power and rule in this country except themselves and their families, and for their purposes, they sought help from the British and Indians. This is even though old and young colonialists in every country sought out tribalists, extreme totalitarians, and ambitious people, supported them, and sought their recognition in international forums.
Also, the Taliban with their empty and stupid thoughts, with the help of tribalists, ethnic groups, and the theory of superiority by origin and language, which is considered one of the biggest problems and obstacles in the way of Islamic governance and religious democracy, have brutally abused, killed and looted the country, especially Kohdaman.
These brutal actions of the Afghans today hurt our hearts in many ways. Historical figures of the Tajiks and the Persian language, without whom the history of our country will be devoid of content, culture, and civilization, are subject to violence and pressure.
Fazlahad Ahadi writes in the book “Folk Culture of Panjshir”: “Crime is not only about destroying someone or eliminating him. It is also a crime to interfere with the existence and culture of someone, a group, or a nation and take it from him, knowingly or unknowingly.”
However, the recent history of Afghanistan and the historical events of the country prove that Nadir, the Taliban, and their associates were and remain Afghans or Pashtuns, and were in the service of foreigners without any national or religious reason. They have no mercy or respect for the culture, history, religion, honor, and dignity of the natives of Khorasan.
*The area including from the end of the Khairkhana quarter of Kabul to Bagram is called Shamali or Shimoli, as well as Kodaman. There are also those who by “Shimali” mean the territory from Khairkhana to the mouth of the Panjshir.
