The Taliban have never defeated the US and will never defeat Pakistan.

The Talib is a tool to achieve Pakistan's strategic goals. The dividing line between them does not matter. The separation of the Taliban from Pakistan would, in a sense, mean the failure of Pakistan in its regional agenda. The headlines in the media about this are only part of the psychological warfare and deception of the public consciousness that will guarantee the success of this strategy.

In a Washington Post op-ed, Hamid Mir wrote that Pakistan's friendship with the Taliban had collapsed. No sane person can accept this. Because the nature of the Taliban is only to implement the strategic depth of Pakistan in the region, thanks to which this country is fighting on two fronts. The first front is Afghanistan, where Pakistan has managed to create this strategic depth to some extent. But on the second front against India, it still faces challenges. India is a powerful player, able to maneuver in time against any movement of Pakistan along the axis of regional strategy. It is important to say that there is no reason to separate the Taliban and Pakistan and Pakistan cannot give up the Taliban anytime soon.

What is said about the conflict between the Taliban and Pakistan is just a scenario to turn minds in another direction. Because at present, only and only the issue of strengthening terrorism in the north of Afghanistan is being discussed, which can be used by Pakistan as a cash cow. Even the $4 billion loan promised by Saudi Arabia is also in line with the implementation of the Wahhabist terrorist project in Afghanistan, which Pakistan has taken over.

The logic of this discussion is that the world and intellectuals should not understand that bases are being built in the north of Afghanistan and the foundations of international terrorism are being laid for many years and a long-term agenda. Instead, the world should be occupied with headlines about the conflict between Pakistani border guards and the Taliban. Or it could be a ploy by Pakistan to sideline the Durand issue. Because there is no better time for Pakistan than now. Pakistan is well aware that turning the position of the West and the countries of the region towards the recognition of the political power of the Taliban in Afghanistan is a temporary strategy and a forced necessity. With little difference in views on the region and especially on Afghanistan, Pakistan may miss this golden opportunity.

It is time for Pakistan to admit that its Afghan policy has failed, according to this Washington Post writer. Although Pakistan has been successful in its policy towards Afghanistan, and indeed, this strategic mistake is hard for many to accept and the Pakistani military cannot accept this defeat. Because since the creation of the Taliban group in the 1990s, the Pakistani military and government believed that they would create "strategic depth" through the cultivation of pro-Taliban forces in Afghanistan, but now those same groups have become a new threat to Pakistan.

This article can be seen as carrying out psychological operations to create a deviation towards healthy thought against the policy of Pakistan. The government, army, Pakistani media, and their analysts have always focused on the goal to win this psychological war against the Afghan people, in addition to using the Taliban as a trusted and dependent force to achieve their strategic goals.

For example, the author writes that a few days after the Taliban seized power, the new rulers of Kabul released the imprisoned members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, who had been fighting against Islamabad for years, and since the Taliban came to power, the number of terrorist attacks in Pakistan increased by 51 percent. Now, if we really focus on the nature and main content of this discussion, we will find that the Pakistani Tehrik-e-Taliban, like the Taliban of the Emirate of Afghanistan, has the same idea, the same thought, and the same mode of action. operates in the regional direction. Both these radical and extremist forces are trying to implement Pakistan's regional plans. It doesn't matter who is in jail and where. But what matters is how Pakistan uses these two means to destabilize the region in order to achieve its strategic depth against two enemy neighbors with which it has always been in conflict.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has an intellectual congruence with the religious ideology of the Pakistani army and civilian government based on their strategic culture. Pakistan has always used jihadism and religious extremism in the region. Pakistan has always used jihadism and religious extremism in the region. Pakistan has achieved great success in this field, and during the years of the Cold War, it was these extremist forces, the intellectual creation of Pakistan, as well as the population and migrants of the border regions and neighboring regions, that strengthened the ranks of the fronts of the war against the Red Army. This strategic option for the Pakistani government and army worked well. In terms of military equipment, advanced technological means, establishing relations with the US and the UK, becoming a strategic partner in the Asian plans of these two countries, and especially against the Soviet Union based on the strategy of blocking the penetration of communism, the Pakistani army has achieved a lot of success. Its economy has grown stronger every year and the boiling cauldron of extremism in it has reached its peak so that it can play a significant role in the future of the region. The Achilles' heel of the Afghan-Pakistani relationship has been the frontier, which has bled for many years.

Pakistan had the idea of declaring the Durand issue closed through its hirelings, which succeeded to some extent. But, apparently, the Taliban are not ready to bear the burden of such a historical responsibility. Because the main ideology of the Taliban is Pashto-centric ethnic thinking, and the strength of this ideology lies in the unity of the Pashtuns, divided by the Durand line. There is a sort of correlation between the Pashtun thinking of the Taliban and the Pashtuns on the other side of the border, and Pakistan has not acted cautiously in this area. The Taliban has repeatedly refused to recognize the Durand Line as the official border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This tension has always existed between the Taliban and Pakistan.

I slightly agree with this argument, but that this group is trying to put pressure on Islamabad, attracting the attention of the Indians, cannot be logical. New Delhi will never trust the Taliban. Because the historical background and basic nature of the Taliban is a crystallization of pan-Pakistani thought, which is effective only for the purposes of pakistaniization of the population of the region and its strategic culture.

Also, Hamid Mir mentioned in this article that the Taliban think they have beaten the United States and now they can beat Pakistan too. But the truth is different, contrary to what this Pakistani writer is trying to convey to the minds. The Taliban, for all their incomprehension and institutional ignorance, have the understanding that they have not defeated America and that it is illogical to defeat Pakistan as a nuclear power. Talib is supported by the Pakistani military and has grown out of Pakistani strategic thinking and culture.

Also, according to the author of this article, according to the World Bank, Afghanistan is now one of the poorest countries in the world, and the Taliban should conquer poverty, not Pakistan. So, on this basis, two poor people are at war with each other, and this tension will be a war of poverty against poverty. While Pakistan can overcome poverty and has the talent to find a way out of its bankrupt economy by creating and building new scenarios and managing large-scale programs at the regional level, how can the poor Taliban surpass Pakistan without forty million dollars in US handouts, on what economic and financial opportunities? Also, the US and UK will not allow the Taliban to snub Pakistan, let alone be hostile and try to defeat Pakistan militarily.

This article is full of exaggerations and stupidities that can deceive a weak mind, devoid of the power of analysis and completely dependent thinking, but not the people boiled in furnaces of bitter historical experiences and a good knowledge of aspects of this game. The Talib is a strategic tool in the hands of Pakistan, and this tool currently serves the Pakistani “strategic depth” mindset and works well. Their separation is completely absurd.
