The current conflict has surpassed the conflict of April 29-30, 2021, when both sides suffered heavy human losses - on Kyrgyzstan's side 39 people were killed, and on Tajikistan 19.
Now there is no official information about the losses, but it can be argued that both sides suffered significantly more human losses than during the events on the border at the "Golovnoe" irrigation facility, which spread to other zones. Now there is less infrastructure damage on both sides, but since more people were shot at, there may well be more casualties. While the Tajik military fired at a threatening armed man from the other side, that is, a military man, the Kyrgyz military fired indiscriminately. Sometimes deliberately on civilians.
A monstrous act of terrorism can be called a strike on a mosque by a drone in the village of Ovchi Qal'acha, Bobojon Ghafurov district in Tajikistan, during evening prayers. The death toll exceeds two dozen people, with about three dozen injured. This was hit by Muslims on Muslims during prayer, which can only be called a monstrous act of terrorism, blasphemy for people who preach Islam.
Many analysts and religious figures with whom we had a chance to talk on this topic today are unanimous in their opinion that even in Syria, Iraq, and Libya, where Russian, American, and European planes were bombing, there was no case of beating crowds of people praying. Such acts were committed by ISIS in Afghanistan, but the targets were more often ideological opponents than innocent people.
Most of the Muslims we interviewed in Tajikistan say that hardly anyone could have expected the Kyrgyz to strike at the mosque. The Qur'an says: "If someone kills a believer intentionally, then Hell will be his retribution, in which he will remain forever. Allah will be angry with him, curse him and prepare great torment for him. "(Sura Woman 93 ayahs). Therefore, a real believer will always think about what awaits him in the other world if he committed such a grave sin as the murder of an innocent person. And the Kyrgyz military went for it. Those who gave the command to strike at the mosque, it turns out, are not Muslims and should be committed to the universal condemnation not only in Tajikistan. We are sure that such an inhuman act will be condemned by Muslims in Kyrgyzstan itself.
I just want to remind readers in connection with this terrorist act that this event happened at a time when people were going to evening prayers, being sure that the agreement on a truce allowed them to perform a ritual in the spirit of collectivism, which is encouraged by the Koran. Recall that the ceasefire agreement came into force at 16.00 local time, 16 September, and the Bayraktar drone attacked the mosque in Ovchi Qal'acha around 18.30.
On this day, another incident occurred, which indicates that Kyrgyzstan does not intend to recognize the international conventions it has signed. They shot at the ambulance. Either the military does not know that this cannot be done, or they do not care what rules, agreements, conventions, agreements, and obligations exist.
