The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan led by Ahmad Massoud will hold an all-Afghan conference in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, July 04 - Sangar, Firdavs Nizam. It is assumed that the Taliban will also be invited to this meeting.

A National Resistance Front source told the Sangar website that representatives of all political and ethnic groups, including the Taliban, will be invited to the conference.

“The goal is to discuss political ways out of the current crisis and create an inclusive government in Afghanistan. After 10 months, the Taliban have proven that they are unable to unite the people of Afghanistan. They cannot create an inclusive government with the participation of all political and social circles of the country,” the source said.

According to the source, a technical committee has been created to hold this conference, and its organizational work is underway, including the compilation of a list of participants.

"Now it is not determined how many people will participate in this conference and how many days it should last. We are considering the number of participants from 50 to 100 people. But one thing is certain that representatives of political parties, ethnic, women's and intellectual circles of Afghanistan will be invited," - the source said.

Last week, a Taliban-initiated Loya Jirga, a large council of more than 3,500 elders and Islamic scholars from across Afghanistan, was held in Kabul, but opponents of the Islamic Emirate heavily criticized it.

Sangar's interlocutor says the Louis Jirga was held to swear allegiance to the self-proclaimed "Amir al-Mominin" of the Taliban, and Afghanistan's issues, including poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and violations of human rights, especially of women and girls, were not discussed.

“The Taliban, by collecting mainly old peoples, wanted to gain internal legitimacy, but in vain. However, the Resistance Front is committed to solving the Afghan problem through dialogue. War is not the solution to achieve lasting peace and stability,” he said.

On the other hand, talk of holding a conference to be held by the Afghan National Resistance Front in Dushanbe begins after Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Tajikistan.

According to reports received in Sangar, one of the main topics of the meeting between Vladimir Putin and his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahman was the discussion of the intensification of the activities of international terrorist organizations in Afghanistan, which is observed after the Taliban came to power in this country.

Informed circles in Russia and Central Asia consider that the National Resistance Front led by Ahmad Massoud and other anti-Taliban forces, especially in northern Afghanistan, is the most important anti-terrorist force and the countries of the region should support them.

News and rumors about the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Ahmad Massoud have not yet been officially confirmed, but after the visit of the Russian President to Tajikistan, certain circles in the region concluded that the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan as a military-political and anti-terrorist force has found its place in the "New Great Game".
