What is Hekmatyar suffering from and what is his pain?

Author: Fakhriddin Kholbek

INTRODUCTION: The head of Hezbi Islami delivered a political sermon from the podium of the Mosque of God during the last Friday prayer in front of the parishioners. The theme of the sermon is the relationship between the Taliban and neighboring countries. He claims that investor countries (not exactly which, but apparently the US) are fueling wars between the Taliban and neighbors, including Pakistan and Iran. He said that a rocket was fired from the Afghan territory over the Uzbek city of Termez, and Uzbek jets were maneuvering in the area of the Afghan city of Hairatan, which causes concern.

But he talked more about Tajikistan. According to him, the United States agreed with Tajikistan to establish a military base on its territory. And it turns out that these are not his words, but the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He concludes that the US wants to use the territory of Tajikistan to attack Afghanistan...

...This article was written on August 29, 2021, when this failed politician spoke out against the statements of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in defense of Tajiks and other non-Pashtuns in Afghanistan. This man has never changed in nature, and everything that has been said about him over the past half-century has not changed either.

So, what is Hekmatyar suffering from and what is his pain?

Hekmatyar does not need humiliation. History has dumped all the curses on this unfortunate politician, who is in fact a "political corpse". His humiliation is full-blown advertising.

He wrote 120 books, which are devoted to the problems of Islam. He is very computer savvy. He himself can install both software and hardware. But with all his knowledge, he never became a man, not to mention history, he did not even take an example from the failures of his life, but remained a stubborn and unscrupulous politician, with a stain of loser on his forehead.

He envies Masoud all life, even after his death, and now it is clear that he envies even the death of this noble man, whose spirit is fighting against foreign mercenaries, enemies of the freedom of his homeland. He also envies Massoud as a national hero, when he has remained an outcast and hated figure in Afghanistan.

The late Jamal Khashoggi, an Arab journalist killed on 2018 by Saudi intelligence in Turkey, witnessed a historic conversation between him and Massoud in 1992. He wrote later that Hekmatyar destroyed not only the results of jihad but also Afghanistan, sparking the civil war of the 1990s and the subsequent disasters of Afghanistan.

More than 30 years have passed since then. This war continues. Afghanistan is burning and bleeding. From the hands of such traitorous sons like Hekmatyar, who brought their homeland and people to such a position for the benefit of their masters.

What is wrong with Hekmatyar?

Hekmatyar has a special hatred for the Tajiks (although, according to our information, he has two grooms from the Panjshiris), primarily because in 1992 Ahmad Shah Massoud destroyed his dream of sitting on the Kabul throne. According to Khashoggi, on the same night, in the morning of which he was supposed to arrive in Kabul, in the night prayer, he became the imam of the Arabs, representatives of the nation of the Prophet (s), because he considered himself already "the emir and imam of Afghanistan." That night, he turned off the walkie-talkie and fell asleep. In the morning, when he woke up and turned it on, Masoud's troops took Kabul. History has shown that at that moment the "emirate" of this "unsuccessful emir" ended without starting.

Hekmatyar, out of madness, bombarded Kabul with thousands of rockets every day, sacrificing thousands of citizens and his warriors in order to fulfill his shattered dream. The devastation seen in Kabul 30 years later is the result of Hekmatyar's wars and missiles. Now the only question he doesn't want to be asked is about this historical crime. Unfortunately, he still does not understand that by this crime he has become  practically cursed by history and a "political corpse." But like the ostrich who thinks that if he hides his head in the ground and does not see others, others will not see him either, Hekmatyar also believes that his historical crimes are also forgotten.

Later, the Taliban kicked him out and he threw himself into the arms of Massoud. Massoud brought him to Panjshir, and from there he sent him to Tajikistan, and then to Iran. Hekmatyar later announced that if he had not left Panjshir, Massoud would have killed him. The poor fellow did not realize that by that time he had killed himself and his personality in the minds of society. He, as a "historical suicide bomber", died in the Kabul wars. And also as a person.

Otherwise, he would not have insulted Tajikistan and Iran, which sheltered him. Two years ago, in a speech, he said that Tajikistan and Iran kicked him out. The former head of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan, who allegedly kicked him out, in a conversation with the author of these lines, called Hekmatyar an ungrateful idiot who has "such understanding and insight."

The position of Tajikistan, voiced by President Emomali Rahmon during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (in August 2021), can be translated as follows: you supported the Pashtuns for almost 50 years, now we also support the Tajiks, all non-Pashtuns, and antitaliban Pashtuns.

This does not mean that Tajikistan has just started supporting anti-Taliban in Afghanistan. During the first Taliban regime (1996-2001), Tajikistan also supported the National and Islamic Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan (United Front) led by Ahmad Shah Massoud, an anti-Taliban alliance. All assistance, even the arrival of delegates from all over the world to the front, was carried out through Tajikistan.

Tajikistan itself was embroiled in a civil war and was in the grip of economic and political problems. There were also international plans to draw Tajikistan into a regional war, the details of which are another matter. But the important thing is that Emamali Rahman was at the same time, compared to other leaders in the region, along with Ahmad Shah Massoud and against the government that supports terrorists. The war with the fall of the Taliban ended in favor of the anti-Taliban of Afghanistan, but their leaders ruined this historic achievement.

Now these leaders (with the exception of two or three) have also become "political corpses" and a new generation has emerged under the leadership of Ahmad Massoud, who, without any dispute, should be supported by Tajikistan. Moreover, Tajikistan is no longer the Tajikistan of the 1990s, and the return of the Taliban, the patron of terrorist organizations, poses a serious threat to the security of not only Tajikistan and Central Asia, but the whole world.

On the other hand, according to the obligations that Tajikistan has in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), any actions will be taken with the consent of other members of the organization. Time will tell which world and regional powers will side with the Taliban and which will side with the United Front.

In the wars in Afghanistan, anti-Taliban, whose main force is the Tajiks, have been and will be strategic partners of the northern countries at the head of Russia. The Taliban, not all Pashtuns, were, are, and will be strategically tied to the United States and its satellites. It is difficult to understand this fact and the complex realities of Afghanistan, but in essence, everything goes back to the longstanding confrontation between Russia and the United States.

All this puts pressure on Hekmatyar's bleeding wounds and increases his pain. Otherwise, his own fate is unknown. The Taliban themselves did not tolerate him and do not tolerate him, and even Mullah Omar did not accept his bayat - the oath of allegiance because of his selfishness and unreliability.

Former Pakistani President Parviz Musharraf has made it clear that the Panjshirs - Tajiks - are the main obstacle to his country's plans in the region. Other Pakistani leaders have publicly supported and continue to do so, but Musharraf openly defended the Pashtuns and divided the Afghan people.

But Hekmatyar never spoke out against his split policy and never will, because the servant or "lackey" has no opinion of his own, and all he says is the order of his masters.

In short, Hekmatyar's reaction is 1) flattery to the Taliban and 2) words that his master should speak, and they are directed not only against Tajikistan.

AFTERWORD: Hekmatyar does not know that Tajikistan is a member of the CSTO and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. It is impossible to create a foreign military base without the consent of the members of these organizations. An American military base fighting Russia and China in Central Asia? It can only be the product of Hekmatyar's brain.

Today there are about 15,000 Afghan refugees in Tajikistan. They are the representatives of all ethnicities of this country. Once, when Pashtun leaders like Ustad Sayyaf sought refuge from the Taliban in Tajikistan, this time it was the prominent figures of Pashtuns who became refugees. Tajikistan supports a united Afghanistan and the equal rights of all its people. Like a good neighbor who never thinks about ruining his neighbor.

However, the United States is working hard day and night in the region to establish its military base. More on that next time.
