Millions of Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks fled to Iran due to oppression and ethnic discrimination at the hands of the Pashtun Taliban.

Hamid Khorasani Peshmerga of the Taliban Pashtunism made a big mistake by publishing a video on social networks, insulting and cursing the Iranians and the Iranian authorities.

In this regard, there are several points to remember:

1 - Khorasani, who is said to be under the protection of Sirajuddin Haqqani, is an adventurer, careerist, and fame-seeking person who loves to be the center of attention and to be noticed.

2 - Khorasani is nobody in the Taliban system. He is under a lot of pressure from the fanatical circles of the Taliban and we have seen that some time ago he complained about ethnic oppression by the Taliban and claimed that he laid down his arms due to ethnic discrimination.

3 - It is very likely that Khorasani is a hidden ISIS member within the Taliban. Sirajuddin Haqqani is also accused of being the leader of the Khorasan branch of ISIS. Because his anti-Iranian and anti-Shia rhetoric is the rhetoric that ISIS uses.

4 - It is most likely that Khorasani's recent anti-Iran statements were made in collusion with Haqqani's incitement and encouragement. The Pashtuns have always skillfully propagated their enmity with Pakistan and Iran through the mouths of ignorant Tajiks. What Khorasani says about Iran are the unspoken words of the Pashtuns about Iran, but spoken by Tajiks. This is what it means to be a peshmerga. The one who allowed the Pashtuns of Helmand to dominate the honor of the Tajiks of Panjshir and justifies this in the name of Islam can attack Iran. He has no understanding of history, civilization, culture, and language, and he does not understand the strategic connections between the Persian language and Iranian identity. They are Islamized on one level and Pashtunized on another.

5 - I do not doubt that the Haqqanids will tell the Iranians through the mouth of Khorasani so that they understand that it is the Tajiks who are against you, and not us Pashtuns. We Pashtuns have something in common with the Iranians, we are neighbors and... The goal is really to make the Tajiks look bad in the eyes of the Iranians. For example, the Tajik Taliban are sent to carry out attacks beyond borders to damage the good name of Tajik history, civilization, and culture and create suspicion towards us in the region.

6 - Iranians should know and realize that Hamid Khorasani is a hated person among Tajiks. The hatred arises from the fact that in the first stage, he oppressed his own people with the help of a Pashtun gun. He is a self-proclaimed and ignorant man, and his words about Iran are not the words of the Tajiks. Tajiks consider themselves Iranians, and Pashtuns always call Tajiks “spies of Iran” because of their friendship with Iran.

7 - Khorasani is well aware that millions of Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks who are migrants in Iran have fled oppression and ethnic discrimination at the hands of the Pashtun Taliban. But he ignores it. He lies that he encourages refugees to return to their homeland. He knows that hundreds of young Tajiks were arrested and killed by the Taliban as soon as they returned from Iran. Khorasani himself is looking for a safe country to escape from a life of restrictions and humiliation under the beard of the Pashtuns. He says these words for the pleasure of the Pashtuns so that they trust him.

8 - Khorasani lies that he was influenced by the humiliating behavior of Iranians towards Afghan migrants. How can Khorasani shed crocodile tears for migrants if he is not affected by the humiliating behavior of Pashtuns toward his own people?

9 - Our request to dear Iranians is that they do not fall under the influence of the prevailing propaganda atmosphere, as well as the thoughts and ideas of racist and anti-migrant people, and do not use the statements of people like Khorasani as a reason to persecute migrants. Our migrants in Iran are the most oppressed and forced migrants in the world. They have either taken refuge in this country out of fear of severe famine or fear of Taliban terror and have no other shelter. The issue of some criminals and bandits who are now, for some reason (perhaps ordered by intelligence organizations) committing crimes in Iran, is something else. The police can arrest and punish them.

10 - We ask respected Iranian media to reflect on their social responsibility and prevent the rise of anti-migrant sentiment. This has a big impact. At the very least, the media should not serve to publish and disseminate anti-migrant thoughts and ideas.
