“We have credible evidence that the Taliban have established special centers for terrorist organizations throughout Afghanistan and once again supported global terrorism by turning Afghanistan into a haven for terrorists,” said the leader of the Afghan National Resistance Front.
Ahmad Massoud said extrajudicial executions, disappearances, repression of the media and journalists, and other crimes have exposed the true face of the Taliban.
“They claim that people are no longer killed in the country, as in previous years. Security has come to the country, and they themselves admit that they were the main reason for the killing of Afghans over the past 20 years, and nothing has changed in their face,” he said.
The leader of the Afghan National Resistance Front stressed that Afghanistan needs a government based on the will of the people and representing their interests, and the Taliban will not achieve international legitimacy until they gain internal legitimacy.
“They want us to either surrender or pledge allegiance to them. They do not want to hear our proposals for solving the problems of Afghanistan. They emphasized the war, and the war was imposed on us. We will fight against their yoke and oppression for a prosperous, free and independent Afghanistan until the last moment,” said Ahmad Masoud.
He thanked the women, called them "the beating heart of the resistance" and promised to defend their rights.
The leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, in a special message to the officers and former soldiers of the Afghan security forces, said that they must unite and restore the country's former military power.
“We call on all factions and groups to unite and fight for the freedom and dignity of Afghanistan. Your unity is the condition for the victory of the resistance and the freedom of Afghanistan,” he said.
