In Dushanbe, the birthday of Fahim Dashti, a famous journalist and writer, was celebrated by representatives of three countries - Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Iran.
DUSHANBE, December 15 – Information Agency “Muqawamat (Resistance)” – Sangar. At the same time, a presentation of his book "Far and near Amir Sahib. Memories of being with the national hero" dedicated to Ahmad Shah Massoud, also took place.
This book by the late Fahim Dashti has just been translated into Cyrillic, and on Wednesday, December 13, on the occasion of its presentation, a solemn ceremony was held at Kokhi Afsaron (Officers' Palace) in Dushanbe, in which famous political and cultural figures from Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Iran.
The speakers, in turn, spoke kindly of the life of Fahim Dashti and called his services to the culture and media of Afghanistan lasting and immortal.
In addition, Fahim Dashti's prominent presence in the bastion of resistance to terrorism was highlighted, with speakers citing his role in the first and second resistance against the Taliban as valuable.
The book “Far and Near Amir Sahib. Memories of Being with the National Hero" was translated into Cyrillic and published in Tajikistan thanks to the efforts and initiative of the Shahid Masood Foundation.
This book contains the memoirs of Fahim Dashti about Ahmad Shah Massoud, the National Hero of Afghanistan, during the era of jihad and the resistance of the Afghan people to terrorism and the Taliban.
