INVITATION TO COOPERATE AND INTERACT
In Sunbula, the Tajiks of Afghanistan lost two influential political and military figures. On September 18, Ahmad Shah Massoud, a prominent Tajik military leader, was killed. On September 29, Professor Burhanuddin Rabbani, the former head of the Islamic State of Afghanistan, was killed.
The celebration of the memory of these two great personalities in the month of Sunbula has become a point of contact for Tajiks in recent years, and it can be said that most Tajiks are united in their remembrance. Many Tajik intellectuals believe that in today's difficult circumstances, Tajiks need solidarity more than ever so that they can act together to defend their honor, life, property, and land, and against the historical oppression, occupation, and humiliation caused by the ethno-religious Taliban regime.
In 1395 (2016), a group of informed Tajiks decided to rebury the bodies of Amir Habibullah Kalkani, the King of Khorasan, and his companions, executed by the traitor Nader, and bury them in Teppae Shahrara in Kabul. The movement, which began on 11 Sunbula, is one of the most important days in the political life of Tajiks and in the awakening of Tajik youth.
In Sunvula 1395 (2016), a movement of conscious Tajik youth showed that if Tajiks act responsibly and together, they can take valuable steps to restore their power.
In connection with the above, “Tajik Watch” declares Sunbula as the Tajik National Solidarity Month and calls on all influential Tajik figures, elites, and organizations to unite and launch a series of programs in cyberspace and around the world during this month.
These programs will discuss the factors of Tajik's disunity in recent years and ways to achieve their national unity and solidarity. We believe that these discussions can be effective in solidarity and awakening of Tajiks, especially the younger generation, and provide a clear path for the new generation to take effective steps to achieve strategic goals.
Note:
1 – “Tajik Watch” consists of Tajik elites and intellectuals from all provinces of Afghanistan/Khorasan, who have been meeting for almost a year and working together to achieve goals such as recognition of the supreme interests, awakening, solidarity and creating a clear strategic vision for future policies of Tajiks.
2 - "Tajik Watch" for consultations and coordination with other Tajik organizations such as the Tajik Center of Guardians of the Cultural Revolution, the National Council of Tajiks, and the Council of Unity of Tajiks also discussed this issue. Fortunately, they promised to cooperate and participate in the programs and discussions.
3 - The media collaborator of "Tajik Watch" in launching and planning the discussions of the "Month of National Solidarity of Tajiks" is the information agency "Purana". We also ask other respected media that are committed to the highest interests of Tajiks to accompany us in this campaign.
