According to the text of the sermon, voiced by the imams of mosques in Tajikistan and a copy of which came into the possession of Sputnik Tajikistan, the celebration of prayers in a peaceful atmosphere and with the wide participation of those praying in all mosques of cities and regions is the result of the unity and peacefulness of the people and the creative policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emamali Rahman.

"You know that today is Monday and a working day, but the government of Tajikistan has officially declared this day a day off throughout the country in connection with Eid al-Fitr so that people can freely celebrate their religious holiday. And another sign of the state's high respect for the religious values of the people is that today more than 4,000 mosques function freely in Tajikistan,” the sermon says.

It further states that the prosperous life of the people of Tajikistan is due to the blessing of an independent national state that belongs to these people and protects their interests, independently determines its policy, and does not obey orders from outside.

"On this sacred day, we touched upon the issue of statehood, because it is an independent nation-state that makes it possible for us to determine our destiny, live in peace and prosperity, preserve our culture, speak our native language freely, freely walk our streets with our wife and children. In a word, the very existence of an independent national government preserves us as a nation," the sermon says.

Describing the "abundant blessings sent down by God to the Tajik people", imam-khatibs believe that it is necessary to have their own state. According to them, God gave the people of Tajikistan clean and fresh water, high and beautiful mountains, clean air, fertile lands, high and great culture, and shining faces that turned Tajikistan into a paradise on earth.

“Everyone who comes from abroad sees and understands this. But only the state, only an independent people with their own state, can protect all this, ensure prosperous living conditions and our survival on this land,” the imam-khatibs said.

The sermon, without mentioning a specific country, speaks of the neighbors and compatriots of the people of Tajikistan, who, due to the lack of an independent state, are having a hard time today.

“Now they don't even have the right to speak their native language. In some states, millions of people have left their homeland due to a lack of peace and security and fled abroad. Homes, wealth and property, beautiful land, all their dreams, and desires went down the drain. That is, only the state and only peace and security are the key to the prosperous life of the people, the key to the fulfillment of our desires and dreams. If there is no state of our own, if there is no unity and security, our personal plans and dreams will not come true - no house, no land, no car, no wedding, no school, no mosque, no holiday," the sermon says.

The sermon mentions that in the modern world only 10% of the nationalities have their own state and freedom, that is, 90% of them dream of having their own state. Imam-khatibs urged believers to unite around their government and serve the state.

"All citizens, whether Muslim or Christian, believer or non-believer, teacher, preacher, worker, student, woman, man, old or young, we must value our state and serve it," they said.

In the interpretation of "serve the state", imam-khatibs said that it is not obligatory to be a civil servant, just everyone should work hard in their field, equip their house, street and district, this is serving the people and the state.

“The fact that our children study well, receive the right education, follow the right path, do not join extremist groups, love their homeland, people, and state, this is service to the state. Living within the law and having a high culture means serving the state. Because the state belongs to us, its stability and prosperity is the stability and prosperity of all of us,” the sermon says.

At the same time, it is noted that the people love and support power primarily for themselves, for their wives and children, for a peaceful life, for the preservation of their language, culture, and national values, because all this can be preserved only with an independent state.

According to information received by Sputnik Tajikistan from several Tajik mosques, Ramadan holiday prayers were held in compliance with all security measures.

Explosions have exploded at several mosques during Friday prayers in Afghanistan over the past month, killing and injuring hundreds of people. All this has turned mosques - a sacred place for Muslims - into a dangerous places.
