How is the sunset of the Taliban approaching?

Author: Hafiz Mansour, politician

Divisions are growing among the Taliban factions, each seeking to destroy the other. The conflict escalated when Mullah Yaqub informed the US of the whereabouts of Ayman al-Zawahiri, leading to the death of the al-Qaeda leader.

The US, which is linked to Mullah Baradar's faction, has attacked the Haqqani faction with drones, and there have been several such attacks so far. Attempts by the Haqqani group, who sent suicide bombers twice, to encroach on the life of Mullah Yakub, were unsuccessful. And now it is trying to cooperate with the National Resistance Front. For this, several messages were sent. Their plan is to intensify their actions against Mullah Baradar's faction with the support of the National Resistance Front and secure their control over the leadership of the Taliban group.

The non-Pashtun Taliban have no motivation to fight, and the efforts of the Taliban leaders to recruit soldiers from the north of the country have not been successful. Those who are forcibly sent to Panjshir, Andrab, and Khost are already in advance contacting the commanders of the National Resistance Front and talking about compulsion. The resettlement of the Pashtuns from the other side of the Durand Line in Takhar Province clearly persuaded the non-Pashtun Taliban to prepare to openly join the Resistance Front when the time was right. The number of connections is so impressive that, if we make a few exceptions, most have already established their connections with the National Resistance Front.

The brutal and anti-Islamic behavior of the Taliban has raised questions in their ranks. Some of them openly criticize the administrative, cultural, and educational policies of the movement. And it was from here that the killing of mullahs of mosques intensified under various pretexts, and this highlighted the fragility of the Taliban movement. Neglect of state property forced marriages, and immoral actions are daily removing the mask from the face of this group in front of the people and increasing the distance between them.

Plans are underway to expand the National Resistance Front. There are a lot of people and fighting forces. There are many people and fighting forces here. They need to be organized and regulated. Soon anti-Taliban fronts will appear in the north, center, and west of the country. Famous and experienced personalities will take the stage, and people will witness tremendous changes.

Externally, the Taliban leaders' travel permit has not been renewed by the UN Security Council. The US and Europe have lost hope in the Taliban; therefore, drone attacks have intensified instead of dialogue. The holding of the Vienna meeting, in which members of the National Resistance Front will take part, is considered a positive development in the eyes of Europeans. Russia and the CIS countries are becoming more resolute in their determination against the Taliban terrorist group. And this was reflected in the level of cooperation between these countries and the Resistance Front.

Iran's patience is running out and there is no more room for diplomacy. So we will soon see a change in Iran's policy towards the Taliban.

What is happening inside and outside of Afghanistan/Khorasan says everything about the rapid decline of the Taliban. The group that came to power as a result of the deal is leaving the scene as a result of resistance from the Mujahideen and pressure from the world community. And all this encourages and pleases the resistance fighters.
