There will be no second Ottoman Empire or Ghaznavid Empire.

I do not share the optimism of many citizens and governments of the Turkic states regarding the Organization of Turkic States (OTG). My train of thought is simple. This organization was created only to provide Europe with cheap resources and transport routes to China. That is, the space from China to Europe is just a transfer of energy resources and goods back and forth.

The question is, what will the Turkic states get for this? Will they have production? Will they be at the forefront of world technology? Will they have their own breakthrough economy? And the answer is simple - no. Because in essence, the Turkic states will be completely dependent on absolutely everything, not only on the Protestant, but also the Catholic West - on the one hand. And on the other, on the Buddhist-Confucian Far East. Because all the advanced technologies, production, banking, and economic spheres will be there. And therefore the Turkic states will be nothing more than semi-colonies of the West and the East. There will be no independent policy either. How can the Turkic countries be politically independent if they are just a raw materials and transport appendage of the developed countries?

By the way, Russia refuses this role, and that is why it has a conflict with the West and ambiguous relations with China. Therefore, the Turkic countries, which agree with this, have been put in this role as an alternative to Russia. In essence, this is an agreement to be semi-colonies and even colonies of the developed countries in the future.

Another thing would be if the Turkic countries insisted on transferring production capacities, economy, science, and technology to themselves. If they developed all this in their own country to become a real player in the world. But this is not even in the project. It is only about serving the interests of the West and the East.

In short, the Organization of Turkic States is actually a semblance of the League of Arab States (LAS). It has been the same there for a long time - only serving the interests of the West. That is, the Arab countries are a complete disgrace. This is exactly the role assigned to the Organization of Turkic States. So there will be no greatness of the Turks in such an organization. Forget about the revival of the khans, khanates, Oghuz, Qipchaqs, and Chagatai. There will be no Ottoman or Ghaznavid Empire - 2. There will be what I wrote above.

In fact, a serious split has emerged in the Organization of Turkic States on two issues - the Cyprus problem and the issue of relations with the European Union (EU). The Central Asian countries have come out in favor of the territorial integrity of Cyprus. By doing so, they ignored the interests of Turkey and the Cypriot Turks. As of today, Azerbaijan is taking Turkey's side and developing relations with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). There is a possibility of recognizing this state. In any case, the President of Azerbaijan met with the President of the TRNC at the Anatolian Forum.

On the issue of relations with the EU, while Azerbaijan is experiencing a crisis in its relations with it, the Central Asian countries, on the contrary, are strengthening relations. Turkey also has many problematic issues in its relations with the EU.

Thus, the Organization of Turkic States is following the path of the League of Arab States (LAS), each of whose countries has its own interests that do not coincide with the interests of others. The LAS has long since turned into some kind of farce. And the Organization of Turkic States is following the same path. And all because these countries that are part of these associations do not have their own independent financial institutions, do not have a developed economy and banking sector, do not have access to modern technologies, cannot withstand competition in industrial production, are raw material appendages of developed countries, and so on. All this forces each country to go its own way contrary to the interests of others. And thus, there can be no unity and a single platform.
