The Intelligence Service (IS) of the movement "Green Trend of Afghanistan" (GTA) recently received information that Blackwater PMC (Academi) has received a contract from the CIA to train the military unit "Batar" (Taliban special forces).
The Taliban's "Batar" unit is called "Batar", but in Afghan society, it is called "Blackwater of the Taliban".
This name is associated with the presence of Blackwater PMC instructors who train Taliban special forces ("Batar").
GTA does not yet have documents confirming whether Blackwater instructors are citizens of Afghanistan, whether they have dual citizenship, whether they are Americans, or whether Blackwater PMC hires them from countries in the region.
According to the new contract, Blackwater was tasked with training Taliban special forces, with all expenses covered and paid by the CIA. At the same time, this unit, like Blackwater, is involved in some heinous crimes in Afghanistan.
Here is just one example of a crime committed by the Taliban's Batar unit.
An Afghan citizen named Gul Mohammad, who was engaged in currency exchange (called sarraf in Afghanistan), was kidnapped. His body was then found at coordinates **34.5806, 69.18509.
After the body was found and handed over to Gul Mohammad's family, his relatives reported signs of torture on the body. Gul Mohammad's family stated that he was kidnapped and a ransom was demanded from them ("a very large sum"). The family did not pay the kidnappers, after which the businessman was killed. In response, representatives of the Blackwater Taliban began to claim that Gul Mohammad was allegedly a member of ISIS, for which he was eliminated.
However, these statements by the "Blackwater Taliban" were not true.
After the case began to acquire a scandalous character among the Taliban, the group's authorities demanded that Gul Mohammad's family remove the reference to "Blackwater Taliban" from their complaint. The Taliban also forbade the family of the deceased to say that Gul Mohammad's body was handed over to them by "Blackwater Taliban". Instead, they had to state that it was done by "forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan". The Taliban authorities also emphasized that any publication of details of the incident, as well as communication of the relatives of the deceased with the media, is prohibited. Imprisonment was promised for violating the ban.
This case caused a major scandal among the Taliban. As a result, Mullah Ahmad Agha, the commander of the "Blackwater Taliban" associated with the Haqqani network, was replaced: another person named Dr. Naveed Ahmad was appointed in his place.
As the scandal grew, the head of the Taliban's General Intelligence Directorate (GID), Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, wanted to "look deeply" into the matter. However, the "Haqqani network" began to interfere.
It should be noted that the Blackwater PMC concluded the current contract for training Taliban special forces with the "Haqqani network", whose leader, Sirajuddin Haqqani, is now the Taliban's Minister of Internal Affairs.
Based on this information, it can be argued that the US and NATO are actually present in Afghanistan today, through weekly economic aid in the amount of 40-60 million dollars, and through contracts for training Taliban special forces by CIA instructors under the guise of organizing the fight against ISIS-Khorasan.
